Far too good on the night.

Thought Carey Vs Colbert shared the points.....the way the ball was coming down I reckon I could have kicked one tonight

I was impressed with Johnc ock and Riccutio...fortunately Watt played well on our old mate Perrie.

Overall we were far too short, our skills were lacking both in front of goal and around the ground, we gave you guys WAY too much space (I lost count how many times the ball would be cleared to a man on the wing by himself), and in the end we were just stuffed by 3QT. Plus we were too focussed on Carey (in a physical sense)

It's great to see the King back but not against us.

On the shaking hands thing....it was a bit disappointing although some players made an effort (namely D.Motlop, Bourke and Colbert).

Good luck for the rest of the season. Top 4 beckons.

The Kangaroos delivery wasn't bad either, for the first three quarters anyway, they just couldn't finish!

Congrats anyway. Too good for us on the night. John****, McGregor and Mattner were all impressive.

Thanks Hilly, although I have to say I had deja vu from the '98 GF with your bad kicking. It did feel weird last night, I have to say.....I felt kinda like the relative at a funeral of a rich aunt. Sad she's dead, but I'm in the will. I felt sad for the Kangas supporters, but I was really glad Carey was playing for us.

Thanks Hilly & Rooboy. I was expecting the Roos to drop off a bit this year as Laidley rebuilds with youth. However, I think it safe to say with the shinners spirit you will never be cellar dwellers even when rebuilding (eg. like the Saints). Best of luck for the remainder of the year & I hope you keep that streak going on the Power!
