But my hatred of west coast stifled that obviously.
How sweet was it when we nabbed him! dream come true!

I remember exactly where I was when the press conference confirming Chris Judd was joining Carlton was broadcast on SEN. I was out driving for work and stopped on the side of the road to listen.

Recruiting Chris Judd was such a tremendous morale booster for us. We had Murphy and Gibbs and Kreuzer was set to begin his career with us. It was a massive part of emerging from the Dark Days. Bringing in a player of Judd's experience, talent, discipline and professionalism is exactly the role model we needed for our younger talent.

Chris Judd has been an outstanding player for the Carlton Football Club. And he leaves an enduring legacy and role model for our rising stars.

Chris Judd I thank you for helping to resurrect the pride we should feel as being part of the best sporting club in Australia.

I sort of teared up watching the AFL 360 tribute to him. To think that it's slowly winding up; the Judd legend, is an unfortunate thing.

Will rightfully be remembered as one of the best ever.

Fair point to make though, sheer talent only gets you so far. Yazza may never have the tank/endurance of Judd, but if puts his mind to it, could be just as devastating at his theoretical peak.
