Any chance that the Eagles would trade pick two for 6 and 7 Draper compo and Dees pick?

Hypnotically speaking?

we keep 2 and 5?

you guys get 1 6 7?

i heard about the GCS deal but i would have thought 2 picks inside the 10 would be better for WCE then the later ones from GCS?

Who are the Bombers trying to trade up for do you think?

William Duursma is the only one i can think of we would aim at

We have to many mids that arent flexible in positions with a playstyle that the game is moving away from

Parish Tsatas Hobbs etc

Its been mentioned on here multiple times and now suggested by Kane Cornes, but I really hope we are chasing James Worpel and looking at offering him $3.5-$4 over 5 years. Hawks may keep him, Saints, Cats etc have mentioned as potential suitors. 26 years of age, leadership, inside mid. Fits out needs perfectly. We just need to at the very least be asking the question, and putting something in front of him even if he doesn't want to take our call.

Will definitely fill an age profile we lack.

Think it would be a more in depth trade maybe 6 7 or 5 and 6 etc for 2 and a second etc but i dont want to start any war on your board or anything like that

I think it would all really depend on what WCE is looking at bringing in terms of attributes and what we are looking to bring in
Its a "weak", compromised draft. If we were pick swapping we would want one of your gun mids coming back the other way (reckon either Tsatas or Parish). Otherwise its just theft.

We'll just take the best 2 draftees available and cobble together whatever we can of the rest.

I would try, if I thought that the club who held pick 2 was dumb enough to trade it.
I half expected this answer. I'll make it simple then. No, we wouldn't do this trade.

Actually, I would ask 'round the WA boys in the side if any of them could fake some homesickness for "the good of the club" - then West Coast would do a "good bloke" trade and just fork over Pick 2.

Cause we're swell that way.

Where do i sign?

Parish is overrated ceiling has been hit and his floor is dropping Tsatas has more upside but in terms of you dont know yet could be anything but could be nothing

Hasnt Parish only played like 5 games this year and is averaging 30 disposals/ 7 clearances? Why you guys down on him?

They begrudge the 92 flag the most.

The 93 prelim second half umpiring against the Crows was so horrendously corrupt it was as though the AFL gave a direct message to the umpires that the Grand Final couldn't have a non victorian team in it. Then the Eagles did a big FU and won it again in 94.
ain't that the truth, never got over 92, ripped the MCG turf up and replaced in disgust in 93

his injury prone one way runner cannot kick he kicks Martin out of the midfield our rotations are much better when his out of it

I am a bit bias with my opinion though

He would help you and Reid but his barley played over 10 games since 2022

Would you prefer pick 2 or Oscar + Worpel both on medium/big contracts?
We don't get Worpel at cost of only salary he also dilutes our free agency compensation

He's getting separation at centre bounces and clearances.

He got nice seperation last week kicking that incredible goal.

You comment about McCarthy is strange. The Lions don't need to replace him after he retires? OK.

Lions 1st will end up mid to late 20's

The shit delivery is making him seem like he can’t get separation. When the balls kicked on his head it’s really doing him no favours.

Mates with Harley too which is an added bonus
Yep, same with FOS. Turning our draft hand into Sharp, FOS, Wilson then trading our 2x2R and 3R with GCS for another high pick would be a tremendous outcome.

As he's a FA, wouldn't it dilute our compensation for OA?
