• Brandon Starcevich arrives at West Coast in a three team deal
• Tylar Young (Richmond) arrived at West Coast in exchange for Pick 38.
• Deven Robertson (Brisbane) has agreed to join West Coast and will be signed on to the rookie list after being delisted by Brisbane

Out:

• Oscar Allen joins Brisbane as a FA - West Coast receive Pick 2 as compensation
• Liam Ryan and a 2027 R3 pick has been traded to St Kilda for a 2026 R2 pick
• Campbell Chesser has been traded to Carlton for Pick 41
• Jayden Hunt announces retirement
• Jack Petruccelle, Callum Jamieson and Loch Rawlinson not offered new contracts
• Coen Livingstone joins the list of players not offered a new contract

* Based on Dewar being upgraded after the maximum 3 years on the rookie list. Hutchinson may also have been upgraded but this isn’t confirmed - if it is we will have 4 main and 4 rookie list spots open

If Eagles pick up Phillips and the Deliverance, I’d be feel like getting Dursma @1, CDT @2 and Farrow @13 would be pretty bloody good effort. I’d Probably skip CDT in preference of Sharp if Phillips doesn’t come onboard tho.

We're not going anywhere until we emphasise speed from stoppage with a cohort of competitive ground ball players. Those that are mentioned won't address that shortfall.

Will be an interesting one which way they go with adding another mid as well as Dev. Clarke has said he would’ve liked to get another mature mid during the trade period.

I think they would prefer Clohsey but I have a feeling he will go to the Bombers.

Imo if Mitchell was already on our list I reckon he would’ve got an extension due to the lack of mids. Yeo being talked about playing back next year.

You can't set a standard as a player unless you can walk the talk. If we want a guy that's past it to tell people how to prepare, get Pridda over to go through his routine (bloke measured pasta to the gram before he cooked a meal).

We dont need more players on the list who can't get on the park. We've nearly finished clearing those ones out (Sheed, Allen, Ryan, Gaff etc).

Hipwood fit creates the same dilemma.

It's a 2/4 mix. And occasionally the second ruck resting forward to give rest to the key.

Between Waterman, Shanahan, CDT and Archer we'd have FAR more mobility than the setup of Tex/Thrilla/Fogarty/Curtin that Adelaide ran with when they were too tall.
Its not even comparable, remember we get an extra bench spot too in 2026.

Should be targeting the 24-28yo range that can still bring decent football to the table as well as other merits.

Strategically that would make a lot of sense with Carlton's current pick selections.
ATM, that bring our third pick in two places should they match.
Likely, they will trade at least one of these picks but they can't afford to go into deficit next year for Cody Walker so they'd want to be careful if they're required to match a bid for approximately 2,000 points.

Got to chat to Harry for a couple of hours over a Vic Country dinner earlier this year.
Really nice kid and then came out the next day and was BOG against Metro playing the McGovern role to a tee.
