• Brandon Starcevich arrives at West Coast in a three team deal
• Tylar Young (Richmond) arrived at West Coast in exchange for Pick 38.
• Deven Robertson (Brisbane) has agreed to join West Coast and will be signed on to the rookie list after being delisted by Brisbane

Out:

• Oscar Allen joins Brisbane as a FA - West Coast receive Pick 2 as compensation
• Liam Ryan and a 2027 R3 pick has been traded to St Kilda for a 2026 R2 pick
• Campbell Chesser has been traded to Carlton for Pick 41
• Jayden Hunt announces retirement
• Jack Petruccelle, Callum Jamieson and Loch Rawlinson not offered new contracts
• Coen Livingstone joins the list of players not offered a new contract

* Based on Dewar being upgraded after the maximum 3 years on the rookie list. Hutchinson may also have been upgraded but this isn’t confirmed - if it is we will have 4 main and 4 rookie list spots open

I feel like Melbourne and Essendon (if Merrett leaves) could fall off a cliff next year. Richmond too if they start phasing out their veterans more in favour of youngsters

Hopefully we can climb up a few spots and avoid another spoon

I think a number of so-called experts are underrating the benefit of the games we pumped into a lot of kids this year.

Another strong preseason of body building, some solid role players through the trades, a couple of gun kids, Harley/Yeo coming back in dynamic knick, there is potential for a quicker rise than the general consensus gives us....

No club in their right mind is going to take Oliver’s contract for a meaningful draft pick. Literally a F5th would be the price.

If Melbourne are going to keep paying salary then start winding that up towards the pointy end.

Agreed, he’d be arguably the worst contract in the competition right now. His form the last couple years has not been good, then there’s the off field stuff on top of that.

I don’t think he’s the type of character I’d want around our very young group, even if he did come cheap trade wise.

No, I think he (Ah Chee) is well and truly a done deal to go there.

Expect Adelaide to make a move on Oliver if they miss out on Petracca. They had the cap space for NWM, so can accommodate both Ah Chee & one of Oliver/Petracca.

Oliver seems to have settled or at least the concerns have not been as public. If we do our due diligence and Mini is onboard (having worked with him in 2024, plus Radford) then he could be chance…

Hopefully we walk it back to 2 years and he takes the Lions deal. Keep the pick to package up to GCS, Howpfully Rowbottom
