People have to remember how Cosistent and Improved R Shaw's season has been you really have to be at the game to see how good Shaw has been playing. TV cant show you what a live game at the MCG can so thats why i think he will finish Top 5

... and I'm assuming it's the coaches that vote on the Copeland. These are the guys that see how hard Racer works on the training track and would be more inclined to rate his game higher than most collingwood supporters that generally like to knock him.

:thumbsu: very true

It really is so good to see him playing great footy not many people thought he would be in our starting 22 but before he got injured was in great form always been one of my favourites

at this moment i would say.....

1. Dane Swan (very consistent, and had some crackers)
2. Rhyce Shaw (also very consistant, better than his brother this year)
3. Alan Didak (could win it, having his most consistent year to date)
4. Paul Medhurst (either hot or cold, but has been sensational)
5. Leon Davis (had a cracking first half of the year, but a few niggles has cost him a little, would have polled on the weekend, was terrific)

dont write off........

Harry O'brien (been our best backman, and has really stepped up)
Shane O'Bree (i know what you thinkin but i reckon he does his job every game)

I think MM and the coaching staff pay more points if you've gone on to exceed expectation. Rhyce has put it on the track and hasn't fallen to injury but I really can't see how you could give it to him with some really basic (and bad) turn overs no matter how much extra he has given in return.

Swanny is proving great but it's expected of him and will probably poll more Brownlows that anything I reckon.

Dids is in really good form but not AA at the moment whereas I reckon Medders is pretty close so at the moment I'd have him in front.

All boils down to the finals series anyway.

Licca won back to back BnF's playing a fairly similar role and he possessed even worse skills by foot.I don't think you win a Copeland by hitting targets... it's more about the role you play in the team's structure and how effectively you execute it.Racer is playing a pretty pivotal role by manning the opposition's most dangerous midfielfder each week.I'm not suggesting he'll win it. However, I think he should be in the top handful of blokes.

1. Dane Swan - Billy has been solid all year and played his role each and every week.
2. Paul Medhurst - Has been excellent goal kicking forward all year has work hard up the ground.
3. Alan Didak - Has been awesome all year leads the AFL in 4th quarter kicks
4. Rhyce Shaw - From tagging to wing Racer has been doing his job each week
5. Heath Shaw - Few quiet ones but his defensive work and attack off half back has been 1st class.
