I see that the PAFC Bolsheviks have found a new villain (Tredders) to collectively condemn & stick their daggers into.
Would you condemn him for getting photographed taking a shit in the street?

Publically not getting vaxxed and shitting in the street are pretty objectively silly things to do, and both should be the subject of criticism.

The guy seemed pretty measured, acknowledged other factors but said there was evidence that needs further invetigating. He wasn't making a Fox News rant. He is a Cardiologist. He's suggesting that there is evidence that points to the Vaccine increasing heart attacks. Do you think that deserves more investigation or not? It's an interesting and contradictory stance by the Clique that the Big Pharma Vaccines are accepted without question, in fact almost zealous militancy, yet those same people decry the unjust American Health System which Big Pharma dictates.
There's evidence that asprin causes heart attacks... It's not news worthy, there's also evidence that the birth control pill causes more clots than vaccines and covid put together..? this sort of stuff around vaccines which is literally the only weapon we have against this thing certainly isn't helpful during a pandemic that's killing millions and millions more indirectly.

There's still testing being done on paracetamol and that's going on for 120 years.

Penicillin wasn't tested for long when it was given out on mass.

There will never be enough time to thoroughly test drugs
Spot on. These vaccines considering the scale they've been rolled whilst under the most intense safety monitoring ever conducted are one of the safest immunisations we've seen considering their benefits.

Over 700 people sent into isolation in SA today. A week of this and there will be 5000 people enduring worse restrictions than a lock down. This is what 'living with COVID' really means. No more lockdowns but plenty of isolation for those who bother to get tested.

In South Australia there is no support for those who have to take a week or more off work so there is no incentive to get tested and isolate. The point was made on ABC radio that the likes of Peter Maliauskas will get paid while he isolates and awaits his second test result but Bob the bus driver will not. Bob cannot work from home so he either doesn't get tested or goes to work with COVID. This is the same argument that was had in NSW and then in Victoria. After a media debate some Government assistance was forthcoming.

Imagine quarantine for a week or two, go to Coles when free to do so & get a txt saying more quarantine cause of exposure site etc etc….. ridiculous, we need to learn to live with it.

The world has a new strain of covid-19 and the scientific community are still to determine how it works, what risks it poses, and, most importantly, whether existing vaccines are effective against it.

Health experts, not just in Australia but globally, are taking a cautious approach to how they respond to this new strain until the results of research is in.

Getting a txt from a visit to their local Coles. while a tad annoying, might just save you, your friends, and family from an extended hospital visit.

'Learning to live with it' means being able to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances NOT assuming everything is back to normal.

And FFS keep that mask on when you are in the vicinity of others indoors. You might not think this thing is serious but I do.

It's true to say that its Tredder's choice to do what he wants work wise. If he doesn't want to follow his employer's rules about getting vaccinated during a global pandemic then he doesn't have to.

It's also true to say there's no shortage of ex footballers looking for a job in the media reading off a tele prompter.

Not really 'a crisis' imho.

These quarantine laws came into effect before omicron. I’ll wager that omicron should be renamed fizzer. With fully vaxed (3) shots, ppl still shitting their underdacks.

What a shit world to live in. **** that. Let her rip and what will be will be. I'd hate to live in fear like you.

lol dud vaccines

The UK is talking about booster shots every 3 months and you're falling over yourselves trying to work out how heaps of infections at vaccinated only places are occurring. Probably because the jab has already worn off.

The good news is, if you're under 50 and not obese you'll be fine regardless

What a sh*t world to live in. fu** that. Let her rip and what will be will be. I'd hate to live in fear like you.

What a delightful economy of words you have.

I have an education that extends beyond one single syllable words, and a healthy respect for science. How alien that must seem to you.

As a result I am neither afraid nor in fear. I just have an understanding of the consequences, in terms of lives lost or irreparably harmed, of not following the logic of what the science tells us. And consequently I understand that wishing it away, much like praying, has zero effect on the reality of what's happening around us.

But sadly it seems all you've got is the ability to type out a string of one syllable abusive words on a chat forum. And the capacity to wave a 'Trump for 2024' flag at a rally of no-hopers. Getting all angry and shaking fists at anyone and anything in the face of change; be it globalisation, covid-19 or rising fuel prices.

Frankly, that's what real 'fear' looks like to me. And it's a world I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, regardless of covid restrictions. But hey, good luck in your alternative universe Papa G.o_O

Adelaide is full of vaccine hesitancy..

Makes sense. Country towns tend to be more paranoid about it.
I'd be hesitant too in a place where the government and media is giving no confidence toward the effectiveness of any covid prevention techniques beyond masks and border control. The only reasonable thing has been lockdown management over there. Everything else like a sledgehammer even as vaccination rates rise.

'youll only need one booster! Promise! Get off the conspiracy theories you anti vaxxer! Ok maybe once a year, just like a flu shot...'
