What are you on about? The silent protester is following the social distancing requirements which is more than can be said of some of the anti lockdown protestors we have seen. Do you even know what US State that photo was taken in and the distancing laws that apply?

That is a brilliant way to protest, no need to say anything just stand there practicing passive resistance a la Mahatma Ghandi. Let the rednecks make all the noise and look stupid. Brilliant protest against those who started it all. Here's a thought, if the rednecks had not been on the street protesting against a decision made by a democratically elected Governor there would have been no need for the any of it.

This is is good REH. So you reckon 4 weeks from Sunday gone if we keep 0-3 cases per day (on average) we could be in single digits total active cases or even 0 by then?

Just on today's figures to see if 4 weeks is a reasonable guestimate, today CMO Dr Nicola Spurrier said we had;

2 new cases to go to 437 cases 1 from international connections and 1 from interstate connections
7 new recoveries to go to 376 recoveries, (so with 4 deaths recorded so far)
net 5 case decrease of active cases to 57

a week or two of net 5 decrease with a 0 to 2 case increase each day would get us to close to zero in 4 weeks time

5 in hospital with 2 in ICU both men aged 68 and 75 and critical cases.

1 person from flight of repatriated citizens went to Flinders with a pre existing condition but no positive tests.

1217 tests conducted.

Interesting breakdown of NSW's first 2,000 cases.

1/2 took 16 days to recover,
3/4 took 3 weeks
95% took 6 weeks.
In first 2000 cases there were 7 deaths and that was on 31st March.

This morning NSW reported 1,755 people had recovered. Last time they reported was 8th April 1,356, so about 30 recoveries a day.

Different states report all times of the day and early evening and NSW has only reported recoveries twice whereas most other states have been reporting daily figures since late March.

When someone leans out of a car and shouts, 'You want communism go live in China'. There is every chance their views are far right.

Why would some one standing in a pedestrian crossing wearing scrubs be a communist? Why would anyone supporting a lockdown intended to save lives be a communist?
