Some points of interest:
- When they asked him about Tuck how he said that Tuck has been really working on his defensive side as he knew it was an area that was a weakness. Says that he now knows his role in the side and plays his role well.
- Asked about Jack and whether he should have handballed a couple of weeks back against the Swans when Cotch was running into goal. Said that Jacks job is to kick goals, also said that later in the game he and Edwards were running in to goal along side Jack and he burnt them. Said that they gave him a spray and that a spray is fine as long as its constructive.
- Praised guys like Maric Houli & Grigg who have come in and had a real impact. Said they are a key reason why our improvement has been quicker than expected.
- Said that we were bitterly disappointed about losing round 1. Said that we were confident heading in and learnt a real lesson from that loss and the round 2 game against Collingwood. Since then we've been right in games and disappointed to lose a couple that we should have won. Now feel that we can match it with and beat anyone.

Not sure if you're being facetious, but I think Cousins was a massive positive influence on their midfield group.

For all his faults, if you want to know how hard you have to work to be a top tier player, Cousins was one hell of an example.

It's funny how outsiders can see what Cuz may have brought to the table but many of our own supporters can't. I see significant improvement in our midfield set-up but I'm yet to see one of our players on the end of an ice pipe. Interesting.

Loved Cotch on Saturday after Jacko snagged that goal from the boundary. While the rest of our team celebrated, Cotch gave Jacko a bit of a spray. It appears Jacko was actually trying to centre the ball anyway but it speaks in spades about our next captain.

I agree. one of the best gut runners the game has ever seen........ pity he didn't hang around in a coaching capacity after he retired, would've been great for both him and the club.

And according to the Cotch couch interview (thanks jimmybob) cousins still is helping a couple of the boys out - still speaking to them!

And no it doesn't worry me - he is 3,000ks away from them - phone chat is probably good going both ways.
