the way the eagles have been playing in their past 3 matches , i really cannot see the results being that much different if they had kennedy , lecras and embley in the side... they are not playing the same footy as last year and early this year and are making too many fundamental errors

Correct. Getting smashed in the midfield, worried off the ball and making poor decisions under pressure. Front running footy at the moment, something big has to change in the next month and frankly I don't know where that will come from.

I'd have Fremantle winning two. Essendon could drop all four as well or five including today.

Assuming West Coast win one, Essendon none, Fremantle two, Saints three

West Coast stay in, Fremantle move into the 8, Essendon out

Fremantle win three games however and St Kilda wins all four then West Coast will need to win one of the three hard games. Actually Fremantle has to win 3/4 to make sure St Kilda cant overtake them.

Not sure if that's stand-up comedy material. Port were worse last year and you guys were flying yet they still gave you run for the money. If you actually know anything about your club, you'd know that Port is actually one of your bogey teams, every club has got them.

I would argue our season ended following our losses to Sydney and Adelaide. That was when we were officially out of the premiership race. The loss today just pushes us from 'might make 5th' to 'will be lucky to make 5th'.
