ITT Smiling Buddha treats us as though we all think the US is a wonderful country acting in the interests of everyone.
Why do you want to make the thread about me rather than about the topic?

Is it so hard to focus on the issues at hand?

Forget personalities, they come and go. Focus on the facts.

South and west of Russia, north-east of Romania and Moldova, north of the Black Sea, south of Belarus.

Then again I do deal in geography for a living.

Anyone who thinks intervention is an option needs a swift booting.

What's your occupation?

its not that freaking hard to know where ukraine is, it isnt a slovenia or latvia or even an andorra.

its a large country.

and yes i know where it is and wont support our troops or anyone from our government getting involved.

A strong point of mine as well, I was one of those geography/flag crazy kids. I taught myself every country, it's flag and it's capital before I even started primary school, just because it interested me. Adults used to get a laugh out of it as I always knew the answers. I've always been obsessively knowledgeable about my interests though, I must have a slither of asbergers in me somewhere lol.

Kids be crazy when it comes to learning things. I developed the passion through a set of encyclopedias, and within a year or two I owned several atlases and had borrowed practically every country-related book from the local library.

19706 on first playthrough, all 10 levels.

Got a strike for Bern, Singapore and Adelaide.

Only got Bern on strike when the country borders were shown and anyone should be able to pick Singapore and Adelaide.

Just got 19804, didn't even get a strike.

Nonsense.

Ok mate you keep believing that while the rest of us in the real world realise that the only reason Russia didn't annex Crimea earlier is because they had a puppet government in Ukraine that gave them whatever they wanted.

Do you know what deal was done to extend the lease on the port at Sevastapol?

A 30% drop in the price of gas is a pretty big offer to make a 'puppet government'.

Pray tell where you get your information on this issue.

Channel 7? Or are you more of a Channel 9 man? Perhaps Tom Elliott is more your cup of tea...

Friends and family in Ukraine, where do you get yours?
So no reputable, verifiable sources then?

Okay.

How do your friends and family feel about IMF loans and austerity? Looking forward to it? Are they enjoying having neo-Nazi Oleh Tyahnybok helping run the show in Kiev? Do they appreciate the efforts of Nuland and McCain?

I'd love to know.

Okay.

Sorry where are your reputable sources that the USA was behind the revolution in Ukraine?

A few points:

- Tyahnybok was democratically elected to his position
- Do you believe the only choices are between Soviet puppetry or Neo-Nazi?
- Elections are being held in May so the amount of "running the show" Tyahnybok can do is pretty limited.

Horses mouth.

So was Yanukovych.

No; I don't think Ukraine actually has a choice anymore actually. They did, they chose a government which acted in the national interest and sided with Russia, then the West did what they often do and staged a coup. No more democracy for Ukraine.

Except for sign IMF loans which will necessitate austerity measures and push the country back into the third world.
