Yes I miss the Advertisers quality news articles.
Will be good to see McLeod though in the ireland series, the closet we will see to some form of football for some time.

I agree, I hardly even look at the Advertiser anymore. It's so bare without all the footy articles.

For me this is a bit of a transition season between Footy and NBA basketball

There is nothing on TV and I couldn't be stuffed going out.

No offence mate but ot me cricket is THE most boring game of sport out there. To me its about as entertaining as watching the paint dry.

and basketball is wonderful...

oh we all have our differences, but surely you dont mind going to the pub with a few mates to watch the cricket. very social sport. as a sport yeah it isnt full of action, but the social side is pretty decent.

NBA basketball “I love this game” if only we got more then one or two games a week and it didn’t involve SAS (Duncan), Lakers (Kobe) or the Miami Heat (Shaq) every week would be nice. Bring back some ESNP classic and NBA will rock again (Jordan, Bird, Magic, Rodman, Pippen, CB).

Get on board the Boggy train….Toot Toot and with the Bucks

Cricket is a good game (ODI) and when 20/20 comes into full time play then a lot of the negative attitude from fans that did like the game now will have an opportunity to grow attracted to the fast paced, action hit and giggle game and will not have to stigma involved with the 8 hours (or 5 days) of crap.

Each to their own I guess. Personally, I think cricket is a boring game. I grew up with basketball. I played baksetball, I have a family member that is playing basketball professionally in europe. Basketball is an exciting game. A lot of motion, pick 'n' rolls etc.....

There are also different styles of basketball. Some of them are boring (read Detroit) some are exciting (read: Phoenix and Sacramento). I have picked up the basics of cricket and if I watch it I know whats happening but it just doesn't interest me in the slightest.

I agree. Just hope that Timmy D stays healthy down the strech. If Timmy D goes down, Spurs go down.

I think Kings will be better than last year but I don't think we are quite a contender yet. I think we can win the pacific division and maybe finish 2nd in the West after 82 games. Not sure we can make the WCF though.

Doesn't look like he will make the cut

2 games in a row now he got DNP - Coach's decision. Looks like he is behind Jamal Sampson in the pecking order. I would keep him as a development player but I am not sure that those in power will.

Personally I'm having no difficulty in the off-season.

I'm a HUGE fan of football (soccer football that is) and I get to as many A-League games as possible. Now that footy's over I can concentrate more on both worldwide and local football.

And Macca, totally agree. Great day of cricket, despite the early slip. Easily the best cure for those long, hot summer months.

And why doesn't the countdown stop at the Wizard Cup? Boogie Knights will likely be playing.
