AFL has frozen ticket sales to this weekends Melbourne games.

Haven't seen anything on junior/local footy.

Check the ABC link above and see if you can find any mention of junior footy.

All I could find is this:

Activities hosted at venues with COVID-safe plans can continue as they were, but with masks if they are indoors.

Very loose COVID safe plans I’d imagine at junior footy that will hopefully be tightened so the kids can play

I would assume all players flying up to Sydney as there is a VFL curtain raiser at the SCG.

Given that this new outbreak is apparently the more lethal Indian strain of the Virus, I would expect us (Melbourne) to go under a hard lockdown for 5 days or so (at least)
