Best game for the Club yesterday; and did everything you could ask of him (except kick 3.2 instead of 1.4), worked hard, completely unselfish.

Walker had a great game yesterday, every week he is continuing to develop and become a better player. I firmly believe that without the stress and pressure of the selection noose constantly being around his neck has made a huge contribution to his improvement, if he was still fighting for a spot in the side he wouldnt be the player that he currently is.

considering we have moved him away from his natural FF position to CHF i think he is doing amazingly well.

to go with his poor kicking he had a mark (given to tippet for a free) and the handball to slaone which would possibly have given him 3....basically he had a 5 goal effort without actually kicking 5 goals but is shaping up to be the CHF we have needed.

Tipp, Hendo, the Big J and Walker are going to be a tough forward line for the future.

Whereas I believe that being sent back to the SANFL and being forced to address his deficiencies has made him a significantly better player.
