Haven't watched cricket in about 3 years

Talk about a dying sport that no one outside of the sub continent gives a * about

Pity because I used to love it

I was surfing the free to air tv last night. Couldn't land on any programs that took my interest much.

Bu what I did notice was that when checking on the cricket scores, I hated the commentary.
I think it was Sunil. This air of superior elite-ness of the game, just gave me the shytes, so much.

Them crying behind Langer's back to get him sacked was last straw for mine. Bunch of soft campaigners

I'm not sure I'll ever understand why people defend Langer. He carried on like an angry ****wit, and the team didn't like it. Why should he be unaccountable? Because he was a shit hot player 15 years ago? He wasn't even sacked. CA had concerns about him so wanted to extend for a year and re-evaluate. He asked/told the players to come out in support of him getting a longer contract, and they said "sorry, we don't really like you, so no". Surely that's how these things should work? His defence was "tell me to my face that you don't want to support me" and their defence was "no thanks, you lose your shit whenever anyone doesn't say what you want them to"

Has his two years of sooking in the media made him come across as the stoic he claims to be? Ie. he commented that Khawaja was out for a duck because he wore a jumper literally three days ago. What point is he even trying to make aside from "I should have had a job for life". The results haven't substantially changed since he left, and the players are much happier.

Not sure why people hate Cummins aside from the fact that he likes solar power. The guy is as good as any pace bowler Australia have ever had aside from a real select few like Lillee, McGrath etc.

Must admit i fell asleep after Bolands double wicket over . Took the steam out of the Indian supporters . A deserved result , still some unanswered questions with the first Ashes Test coming up straight away . I can't see why Hazelwood should get a gig first test , but i think he will be required at some point .
Unchanged for the first test for me . (Starc on notice to tighten up ).
