Just watched the complete press conference, yeah Bancroft roped into it. That’s shocking. The leadership group has ruined the career of a young cricketer. There Ian no way any of them can stay in the game. ACB needs to sack the lot of them. And watching Boof on the walkie talkie, he has to go too. He should have dragged Bancroft off and sent him to the Match Referee as soon as he saw it.

Naive to think that all the players and Lehmann didn't know it was happening. Like most cricket teams they were probably giggling in the changerooms amongst themselves thinking they were getting away with it.

Smith will lose his Captaincy. Bancroft and Smith should be suspended.

They'll appoint a cleanskin captain, say the right things and move on.

My initial post re Bancroft being in deep shit was while watching events unfold live, prior to the subsequent additional footage of the deep seeded cheating taking place.

I'm now far more sympathetic towards Bancroft (the 8 test veteran), who's been thrown under a bus, and instead my anger is directed squarely towards the leadership.

Smith can f*** off.

Lehman too.

Anyone else complicit in such a disgustingly pox display of cheating can follow suit.

None of them are fit to represent the country!

Either Bancroft has carried out the bidding of Smith/Lehmann or he was the mastermind of this and Smith simply took responsibility as captain and not to throw Bancroft under the bus.

Robert "Crash" Craddock, generally a voice of reason on all things Aus cricket related, has just stated "Smith, Warner and Lehman must go, and James Sutherland himself should be on notice for allowing such a poor culture to evolve under his stewardship!"

Simon Katich earlier stated that CA have no choice but to sack all of Smith, Warner and Lehman also, and he's usually 100% behind the players.
