this may have been done before but im relatively new to BF! i thought we could have a cricket trivia thread, where someone asks a question, then the person who gets it right asks the next one and this continues on!

my question:

Rahul Dravid Recently became the batsmen to go the most consecutive ODI innings without making a duck, but whos record did her break?

Should be nice and easy. Who did Trevor Chappell bowl his famous underarm delivery to?

Brian Mckechnie, who also played for the All Blacks.

That was an easy one, but much better than what the trivia bloke (David Lutt) had to offer during the break of today's ODI final at the SCG.

He had a shocker.

Crooked Rain neglected to ask a question, so I'll steal his thunder.

Name the only Test cricketer with a triple figure batting average.

just of the top of my head was A.E. Trott.........

i know he (A.E. Trott that is) played for England and Australia and he averaged over 100 from 2 tests or something for Australia, but don't know what it was for England.....

Incorrect.

Whilst he had a triple figure average for Australia, I think he had a single figure average for England. So his total career average comes out at about 30-something.

It was a guy who played one test innings for the West Indies, scoring a hundred, and never played test cricket again.

Can't think of his name though.

Edit - whoops, didn't see the previous post!!!

Speaking of short test careers, whose career comprised the following? -
1 match, 2 innings, hs 107, runs 163, average 81.50
New Zealand's Rodney Redmond (yes I cheated, sue me... didn't look like anyone was going to answer it).

OK. This should be dead easy. What do the following 21 players have in common:

Graeme Porter
Shaun Graf
Ken MacLeay
Rod McCurdy
Glenn Trimble
Glenn Bishop
Andrew Zesers
Jamie Siddons
Shane Lee
Anthony Stuart
Michael Di Venuto
Ian Harvey
Jimmy Maher
Brad Young
Andrew Symonds
Brad Haddin
Ryan Campbell
Nathan Hauritz
Shane Watson
Michael Clarke
Michael Hussey

OK, why is Shaun Graf unique in Australian cricket? (broad I know, but the stats men will get it easily)

Ok, I'll ask the Q I should've asked earlier.

Who is the only Aussie bowler to get wickets from the first two balls of an ODI match? Both were bowled.
