As I thought!

Called out as a bullshit artist and then goes ahead with the abuse! A troll I am not and I am happy for you to go though my entire posting history on this site and pick out a trolling post because again, you will not find anything.

I prefer reasonable and honset football discussion, something you are clearly not capable of. When you are interested in realistic and reasonable football discussion I am happy to have a chat about it, but if all you can come up with is this sort of dribble then we have nothing to dicsuss.

Oh, and I would look into the mirror before calling someone else an idiot! ;)
Go over the posts I selected.

You think Sellar is not a spud and will be a good Full Back

You actually want Alwyn Divey at your club, even more than anyone else you've been linked to.

You think McKernan is a tall utility.

You think pick 14 in a weakened draft is too good to give up for Andrew Walker.

You think Zac Clarke has more talent than Sam Jacobs.

You'll wanna hope you're a troll because otherwise you're just an idiot.

Id be happy With Walker for Seller. but if we get a 2nd round aswel id be over the moon.

Although im a big Walker fan, and have always loved him i think he is not really as important to our list as Seller would be. We can always cover Walker, and he has not really affected our team balance not having him in a team.

Seller i believe could fill that big defender post that we have been looking for, as i believe his best position is CHB/FB.

I would also love to see Jacobs traded as part of this deal for Mckernan.

yeah i have plenty of time for parrot & actually enjoy his posts ! atleast he adds something unlike certain people who just post crap & known knuckle draggers as you call them !
If you want someone to kiss your arse and tell you you're all sweetness and light, try your Mum.

Sin City was booted from your board for less.

Feck off to celebrate a champion's knee injury and then bash a kid like I've seen one of your feral supporters do.

B: Russel Jamieson Joeseph
HB: Bower Seller Gibbs
C: Lucas Mclean Carrazo
HF: Simpson Henderson Grigg
F: Gartlett Waite Betts
R: Kruezer Judd Murphy
IC: Warnock Armfield Scotland Yarran
Emergency: Austin Hampson Hadley White Jacobs Ellard

looks much better having Seller in there at CHB, then Bower and having Walker in the team

What has Sellar done to be worth Walker?

Don't buy into Sellar's draft position.

We read that Young is the next heir to Rutten, yet we're supposed to take Sellar who is deemed as surplus by Adelaide. Carlton needs an aggressive power defender like Croad for CHB, not a full back or jack of all trades. Possibly a Matthew Watson with Bower and Austin playing half back to cover him for speed. I'd rather ask for an earlier pick than take a player their supporters and club deem isn't fit to replace Bock.

Lets do another Massie for Eccles trade.

ok your a teacher then, great are you in melbourne or do you teach in the country.

also how many of you are there.

You have no right talking about trades at all when your club traded a 1st round pick for Jordan McMahon, now move along and take your Mexican Jordy with you.

McKernan IS a tall utility. What in the world are you on about?

i will let you get back to the "what is walker worth" debate but can we just take a quick pause and sum up for a minute

the list so far as far as possible trades is
walker (contracted) but appears likely
jacobs (out of contract) but seeking more opportunities, likely
grigg (out of contract) linked to richmond? 50/50
thornton (contracted) but out of favour, likely at players request
o'hailpin (contracted) but linked to sydney in deal for veszpremi ?
fisher (uncontracted) will be traded if deal available otherwise delisted

is this correct as best as we can tell thru all the speculation ?

I doubt any deal will get done because Carlton want Walker to stay. Carlton will want something more than satisfactory for Walker if he's going to be traded which I don't think Adelaide will be willing to give.

True, but this is the second year in a row when Walker has considered leaving Carlton.

If you hang on to him for another year, and he either wants to leave again, or doesn't play much senior footy, or hurts himself, then his value drops even further.

Unless Carlton have a specific need, and a specific role, for him, then they're better of trading him now.

Talk is that it'll be our second round pick + Sellar. That's around the mark, but I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up being our Bock pick.

For these reasons, the Crows are going to have to offer something pretty impressive to get the trade through. Pick 14 minimum, plus a pick upgrade.

That's crazy.

TheGeneral - Phil Davis or SMcK are earmarked as our CHB for the next decade; in that context, you can understand why Sellar isn't a show. SMcK has immense potential, I think most of you guys would agree with that, where as Davis is extremely highly rated by the Crows - when they have anybody senior from the Crows on 5AA wankfest, and Davis is discussed, they are all in love with him.

For starters

Don't care about his trade value 'dropping further' as long as he contributes and does the things he's supposed to out on the field that'll take care of itself.

As I said to various posters on this board, this was his first FULL season in years and I have no doubt that would have taken an impact on his body and hence his form.

No offence, but a secound round pick and Sellar? Keep it. Walker is more valuable to us than the junk Adelaide is going to offer up to get him. We're offering a guy who's a guaranteed starter in your 22. Sellar is no guaranteed starter in our 22 and a second round pick in this draft is an average pick that is unlikely going to nab us a player of Walker's calibre.

If you mean he'll play ~22 games (fitness allowing) and the rest will take care of itself, you're probably right - which is why I said that if Carlton have a specific need for him and expect him to play a full season next year, it's not as much of an issue.

But if he's going to be in and out of the side a bit, or play as a bit of a Mr Fixit and get thrown all over the place, he may consider leaving at the end of his contract (again, based on the fact he apparently wanted to last year, but was talked out of it).

All I'm saying is that if he isn't a lock for a spot in your 22, then now is the time to make the trade.

If he is, and he isn't desperate to leave, then I agree, you'd prefer to keep him.

Sam Jacobs talks to Adelaide Crows

CROWS target Sam Jacobs will drive back to Adelaide on Thursday for talks that will decide his future.

The talented Carlton ruckman who - along with teammate Andrew Walker - is at the top of the Crows off-season shopping list, will meet with his manager to discuss whether he is interested in forming a ruck combination with Adelaide's Ivan Maric next year.

EDIT: No it wasn't me that left that comment at the bottom of the article :D

In the HS today Sauce's manager Vozzo cites gametime as the motivating reason for him wanting to head elsewhere. If it's gametime he wants, maybe Geelong is an option. Ottens is just about spent, Blake isn't up to it, and Simpson hasn't established himself yet. After that they've only got part-timers like Hawkins.

is Mackie a possibility? Would a straight swap work for both clubs?

Hahaha oh sheeet boy, you should get rid of McKernan now, and Davis now cause you know... you wouldn't want their value to drop on the trading table should they be in and out of the team (or not in the team at all)

I am pretty sure the club would be more than happy keeping walker should pick 35 + sellar be offered... and this is the reason...

Sellar is only talked up now by Crows fan purely to get more return... he will not make it at Carlton... and I would hate to waste a position on the Carlton list on a player that has very little chance of making us a better team...

Pick 35 is also not required... especially in a compromised draft, teams ranking of players after the first round varies a significant amount... we can easily pick up players we rated at 35 with our 3rd round pick whatever it is... and I doubt we'd be drafting more than 3 players in the draft

So this means the only benefits of completing the proposed "fair" trade with Adelaide is 0... actually negative as we'd be wasting a spaced on our list...

I say let's keep Walker and let his "value" decrease cause some Adelaide supporter says he will... as he is part of our 22 and can cover many holes... well alot more holes than a list clogger and a player we would've picked up anyways would...

No chance in hell would Sauce alone be enough for Mackie... we all know Sauce is going to be a gun... but Mackie is a proven premiership player...

All ive heard for the last 3 years from Cows supporters is how absoultely hopeless Sellar is but now they think he is good enough value to trade for a guy who has at least shown he can make it at AFL level despite injuries..

If sauce is going i'd like to see the blues explore a trade with the cats for mackie.

I agree...

Mackie/Gibbs/Russell combo of half back would be great... would also free up Gibbs to play centre...

Sauce + pick for Mackie would be ideal... only if Sauce opts out... should he wish to stay... then we keep him

Salopek is staying with us,

Would almost think that means we are out of the race, unless we trade one of our better draft picks.

I know channel 9 has reported it and got all your hopes up but it sounds like it's not definite yet. Should know in the next few days.

Port Adelaide demands Steve Salopek answer

PORT Adelaide wants to know midfielder Steven Salopek's intentions by the weekend so it can start planning for next year.

"We know Port needs an answer so we'll meet with Peter (Rohde) in the next couple of days and a decision will be made from there," Vozzo said.
