When Drummond heard Fantasia called out Bryce Campbell with pick 78, I am pretty sure he got a chubby and passed out from excitement :D :p
:p Mate I did go a little insane. When Campbell's name was called I couldn't believe it, starting jumping around the house and cheering wildly. :p

Drummond or someone tell me a bit mroe about him? DOminant in SANFL or not? What type player? I only know he is a mid and mature age.

When I saw the name on the list I immediately thought of Drummond. I seem to remember plenty of urging from Drummond to take Campbell.Well Done Crows!!

Not someone who appears to be a fast running/classy player but has really worked on his skills and ball carrying in recent years but perhaps does come across with the polish. He played a good game in the stage game this year and polled well early in the Magery.

His biggest asset is his work ethic, team game and overall hardness at the ball. I have really enjoyed watching him play for Norwood in recent years and really hope he can have some success.

I'm tipping the Crows will have about as much success with Campbell in their team as Norwood did...

Why not Zac Hier... A much better player than anything Norwood could produce.

The best young draft in history and we pick three average SANFL players from very average SANFL clubs. Sack Fantasia!!!!!!!

The Crows are a joke!

Sellar average? You have to be kidding. What more do you want from a KPP? Athletic, leadership qualitites and a footy brain good mark. Sellar is 17 mate. Its a great effort for a 17 year old KPP to make his SANFL debut.

What a load or rubbish.

Bryce Campbell is all heart; I haven’t seen too many players out there give as much as Bryce does every time he steps out on the footy field. So because Norwood has a mediocre team with poor skills that’s all Campbell’s fault and the lie falls on him? You’ve got to be kidding me. That’s perhaps the worst comment I’ve ever read. :thumbsd:

Zach Hier obviously wasn’t rated highly enough by the talent scouts, simple as that. So please try to keep the ridiculous comments to a minimum.

I was suprised to hear Bryce is 22. Begs the question, why hasn't he been drafted before now.

I think the crows realise that players can take time to develop

so why not pick up a guy who has developed already instead of putting 3-4 yrs into a guy who may or may not come through

with Gill and Bryce AFC know exactly what they are getting - its the same as porpyliza - I think it is actually a good idea for clubs like the crows to look at these "mature" players. we have the money and resources to get the most out of them

Why is that a surprise? He’s been playing senior for Norwood for three years now, so he wasn't going to the youngest player taken now was he.

Bryce’s talents are certainly appreciated at The Parade, but haven’t been recognised at the AFL level yet. He attended the draft camp when he was 18 but didn’t get picked up by a club, a disappointing event that he accepts gracefully.

During his first year and a half at the Legs you could see the skill and potential he possessed but he struggled to find large amounts of the footy. However during last year’s off season he trained with Richmond and it really motivated him to get a chance in the AFL. This season he game went up a few notches and he became one of the most damaging midfielders in the SANFL. He deserves his chance and will become a very solid AFL midfielder.

Don't get your knickers ina knot. I simply asked the question and was looking for some "unbiased" comment.
