it's such a shame.....these 2 young men had their whole lives in front of them - and now they've gone and disgraced themselves and their families with this behaviour.

Clearly there is something wrong with the system, and I blame the Government and the AFL. Rather than pouring more and more money into grass roots football, the AFL should be investing more heavily in character development, and making sure that players don't go off the rails like this.

Unfortunately things like the internet are freely available out there.....all it takes is a phone call and usually within 24 hours, you're hooked up...and so begins the gradual decline into self destruction.

I hope the Club makes examples of these boys, and if not the AFL needs to step in. I would fully support a self help counselling program, cancellation of their internet accounts, and confiscation of all pens and paper for 2 weeks.

Any parent interested in protecting their young children from the possibility of questionable photos, text or perhaps predators in general, would block facebook and myspace as its content is not monitored unless reported.

Not even that ODNs, there is a lot of questionable content on sites like MySapce and YouTube yet they are never even removed or even tagged as "inappropriate". I'd have to say MySpace is pretty lax in that area.

depends on what network you put yourself in, if they are in the "australia" network, then everyone that has bothered to put themselves in australia can see it. They might, however just be in a high school or college network meaning that only alumni can see their pages.
