Shaw changes the backline dynamics ....hence why the club is so keen to get him in

He's tall & quick

He intercepts beautifully & can play small & tall .........don't have anyone else like him :thumbsu:

M Crouch with 18 disposals to half time? Very impressive, and Paddy seems to be over his injury troubles.

When we apply REAL PRESSURE .....gee we look good

But again Thompson is a team barometer .......when he plays well the engine room just hums

M.Crouch getting better week by week ....he's a beauty!

That don't mean anything when the MRP looks at it. Off the ball, high, high impact
High? Was shoulder to shoulder. Not saying he won't get a week or 2 (mostly because it seems any concussion now seems to require a suspension) but it was just a good hard bump. For me the danger is it was a bit off the ball. I reckon Ward was hurt mostly because he had absolutely no idea it was coming

Err did you see him on Cameron in the north western pocket in the first? Talia has looked quicker on him.

Why? ....was a perfect bump ..not off the ball & not hitting the head

Commentators said nothing

Is he playing well or just getting stats? Can't watch Game.

15 effective disposals in a half is a good game by anyone's measure (I also can't watch it, just listening to the call and following stats), though I'm wondering how an engine-room specialist is getting so many uncontested possessions.

Everyone likes Shaw. The issue is whether he can stay consistently fit, which by this stage it's safe to say "no, he can't".
No they don't .......most have called for him not to be selected

Most have hopped on this bullshit "can't kick" , and run with it

Have never heard so much uninformed bullshit in all my life ......Shaw's a must have in backlines !

Just getting warmed up ;)

Not saying he has full confidence yet in his body ....but once he does, there's a whole another level for Shaw

I haven't really seen that, though I'll admit I've missed most threads from the last week so perhaps it was then. What I've seen from people is that they like Shaw, but that he's not reliable. If we base our structure around him and he goes down (like he always inevitably does), we're in trouble.

Crouch's first half must give him already a big chance for the Rising Star nomination this week.
Just looks so composed ....again his kicking LIKE SHAWS is over hyped
