Cry Baby's survivor thread. (now with spoilers)

FFS, there are 2 types of people on the net that I cannot stand, they are spammers, and GODDAMN IDIOTIC DIPSH|ITS who post spoilers for TV Shows and movies that I haven't seen yet in the headings of their posts. sif its not bad enough that I had the ending of last seasons buffy spoiled by some tool...

If it was a mistake Cry Baby, let me just say that you shouldn't do it, especially on an Australian message board where we haven't seen it (the next ep of survivor) yet.

If it was deliberate, you are a f****ng prick and should die horribly.

(Note: I chose not to reply to the original thread so it wouldn't rise to the top of the board, so others may be able to avoid being spoiled).

DON"T SCROLL DOWN IF YOU DONT WANT TO KNOW THE SPOILER, IT HAS NOW BEEN POSTED HERE...

So SILAS gets the boot this week, so what? It's no secret to nyone that uses the net.

Everyone knew that the Titanic would sink in the movie, yet they still watched it.

Schwarzeneggar, Stallone, Van Damme etc always win in their movies, people know this yet they still pay their money to watch their movies.

Dont take your TV too seriously.

Get a life.

Please.

Pretty please.

Before it's too late.

Yeh well maybe we like seeing for ourselves who gets kicked off??

Hey f*ck you man, I know its on the web, so I deliberatley avoid all the sites where its likely to show up. I want to find out when I watch the show, not by word of mouth, otherwise whats the point in watching the show (which I quite enjoy doing). If I wanted to find out earlier I bloody well know where to look.

You could at least have the common deceny to not put it in the title and add "(spoilers)" to the title. I don't care if you post it and do that, because then I can choose not to see it, and those that wish to, well they can.

And as for Titanic sinking etc. Well no ****. But its not obvious when you watch an ep of survivor who is getting the arse that week, and thats half the fun.

Garth.

It's called "courtesy". Basic Nettiquette. It'd be like blabbing away the endings to The Usual Suspects, or giving away the twist in The Crying Game. Same goes for giving away the result of footy games that are being replayed on TV a bit later.

Jeez Cry Baby you got to be kidding.

Your telling people to get a life and it was you who started this telling all how devastated you were about Silas (whoever it is) getting the boot.

I don't watch the program but show a bit of consideration to the people who haven't seen it. As stated earlier you could have posted the same thing and left out the vital info.

It is you who needs to get a life and stop ruining the show for everyone who does watch it.

Yeah I was spewing when Derryn Hunch (aka Vizard) gave away who killed Laura Palmer.

I loved that show man.

Cry Baby - the name fits you perfectly - you are a spoiler.

Yeah that one stank. I was following that show to see if i could work it out and some skank I worked with blurted it out. Then Vizard did it. Spoilers.

I dated a girl once who was just like Cry Baby, she saw nothing wrong with telling people the endings of movies and stories, in fact she seemed to take a perverse delight in it. I eventually realised she was fundamentally selfish, and this was just one of the many ways her self-centered nature revealed itself.

I'd be willing to bet Cry Baby is an only child, either that or something was seriously wrong with the way he/she was brought up. These afflicted people have no concept of social right and wrong, they just cannot grasp the subtle etiquettes necessary to live peacefully and harmoniously in today's society.

We should feel sorry for Cry Baby and others like him/her.

hey mate,
im curious, what happens if the tables turned, and someone ruined the ending for her in something that she wanted to see/watch. Would she react angerily or wouldn't care? Its interesting to see what would happen when the ball's in the other court.

I remember when another poster told everyone about the final scenes in Hannibal just after it came out. Guess some people can't help themselves, they have seen it so don't consider other people might like to watch it without knowing what's going to happen next.

The question is why it ios shown a week later over here...a week really does give enough time for people to spoil it. If it showed in the US on Wednesday night and then here on Thursday night it's only actually about 6 hours delay....not as much time for it to get spoilt.

Don't know, didn't stay with her long enough to find out. :D

But in my experience you can't hammer the lesson home to these people with a one-shot message - they've been selfish their whole life. If you focus on one manifestation like their spoiling endings you are targetting the symptom not the cause.

Hmmm time to petition for a new Royal Commission. Spoilers In Australia : The Enemy Within.
