I'd never played a Crisis in my life, but played the demo for this. It's not too bad really, i'd get it if i wanted an alternative to CoD with much better map design.

I'm in the same boat, never played a Crysis game but decided to try out the multiplayer beta for Crysis 3. Not half bad, the Crash Site mode was the better of the two. The Hunter Mode seemed like a poor man's version of Flood/Infection from the Halo Series, though it was alright. I doubt this will be a game I buy at launch but I may buy it later down the track.

And... I'm DONE!!

Finished Crysis 3 and enjoyed almost every bit of it. I had a couple of random crashes when loading and one really annoying one once I had beat the second last Boss (after dying like 4 times) it crashed loading to the next section :( Luckily having already worked out how to beat him the second time was easier.

Man I had so much fun changing tactics every section, killing Ceph and Cell, either way it was fun shooting grenades on to arse's or turning their own turrents or minefields against them. I found myself using the Bow or Scar rifle and that's about it. I just wish I could carry more bows as towards the end I found myself running out, mainly because my Bows would disappear by the time I got to the body (wtf?)

Onto the story, yeah it was good! I wont say too much for those wanting to play it (Which if you loved the first two you will love this third) I think mainly because it's been a PC focused game it seems to be very underrated but I love this Trilogy and it would have to be up there in terms of most loved games.

The change in suit from Crysis 1 to 2 and 3 has been great and I'm glad they kept the changes. I found myself using the Stealth all the time though as I found that was the easiet way to clear sections.

Overall I finished it in 6 hours and 19mins on Super Soldier (First run through and I got a 61% completed but I wont bother trying to go for the 100%) and even with the second hardest setting there weren't many hard sections as long as you knew what you were doing with the suit and the tactics. I generally died because of stupidity or as above in the boss fight where I would die working out the environment/way to kill the boss.

I haven't played a minute of MP yet but that will be the next thing, I dunno how it'll go but I'm looking forward to using the Bow in MP! :)

Anyway overall I loved the game but I may be biased being a bit of a fan boy and the only real negative being the annoying crashes.

Would recommend.
