He said his family visited him fairly often on the Coast now, and he felt living there is now 'normal'. Always good.

There are 19 players coming out of contract at the end of the 2013 season, with a minimum of 6 players to be delisted.

It shows how difficult it must be managing the health of the list with all the variables that exist.

I reckon his future is in his own hands. On his day Brennan is absolutely unbeatable. The lure of another contract may just be the thing that spurs him on to have a sensational year.

Opening few rounds of the H&A season I'd say. Between rounds 3 and 10.

It wouldn't surprise me if a few of them were done already. Club would rather announce another five or so at once though like last time.

I have updated the original post with the two year re-signings of Thompson, Shaw and Hall. I have also made the choice to take Nick Curry's word and change Brennan and Harbrow from 2013 to 2014 because I truly believe the club would not be stupid enough to have not already signed Harbrow. Prestia, Gorringe and Rischitelli would be my top re-signing preferences now.

This list of players that are still out of contract this year probably gives a good indication of who will be delisted/leave/retire. Pretty safe to say Campbell Brown is on the way out. That leaves another five players minimum for the club to delist. Can't imagine Gorringe or Prestia being in trouble of leaving unless they want to (Prestia may fall into this category). I could see a guy like Nicholls losing his spot due to the club's continual push of Wilkinson. I also have a feeling Bock might retire.

So if my hunches are right I can see the 6 players being Brown (ret), Bock (ret), Patrick (del), Gillbee (del), Nicholls (del) and Schade (del).

I thought Schade was a long term prospect? But it looks to make sense.

Might be wrong but isn't Broughton on a 2 year contract which takes him to 2014.

Also if you didn't renew Rischitelli, Brown and Bock's contract could you be in the ballpark to get Buddy?

SUNS why the feeling about Dion, I must admit that I am thinking he will leave as well but I have nothing to base it on other than a gut feeling.

Also I am with you on the above list with you with the exception of

Nichols to stay and Horsely to go (big call maybe but I think he will be pushed out with all the gun mids developing and Martin to fit in as well)

I also think that if things don't go Gorringe's way this year he will be looking for a new start, most likely in Adelaide

10 Dion Prestia - 2013 - Unless he wants to go home. In which case, we'd get a really high pick.
13 Jacob Gillbee - 2013 - Done
15 Daniel Gorringe - 2013 - Danger zone - trade bait. Big upside though.
20 Henry Schade - 2013 - Zero signs of improvement, however limited opportunities.
22 Tom Nicholls- 2013 - Fighting for 1 spot against Gorringe I reckon.
30 Campbell Brown - 2013 - Sad but unfortunate reality is I think he has almost be surpassed.
34 Jack Hutchins - 2013 - Danger zone
35 Michael Rischitelli - 2013 - I'd love to know what coin he is on. Needs to have a big year.
36 Greg Broughton - 2013 - Must keep.
38 Joel Wilkinson - 2013 - So far this year is best 22 and deserves his spot as athletic small def.
42 Kyal Horsley - 2013 - Danger zone - Good depth, but stranger things have happened.
43 Liam Patrick - 2013 - Injured I know, but would have to seriously improve.
