Multiplat Cyberpunk 2077 - Pre-launch thread

[BOMBERS 4 LIFE!!!!]

The only cyberpunk movies I've seen are the blade runner films and escape from LA. Would the old total recall or the new dredd movie count as cyberpunk?

Also played Rage 2, which is like a mix of cyberpunk and the apocalyptic wasteland theme of mad max.

Collectors edition is available at JB HI FI also.....Struggling to bring myself to spend the $429 on it. I'm sure I'm going to love the game but I might pass on the C.E.

Interesting that even cut scenes apparently will be first person perspective only...

So you will only see your character if you look in the mirror haha

Sounds very Far Cry.

It was good in Far Cry.

This shouldn't be trying emulate Far Cry.

Third person cut scenes, vehicles, and taking cover would be better.

Don't get me wrong, I have save files set at the best moments to replay those scenes, but if Cyberpunk has the uh, breadth of Witcher, first person won't do it justice.

I wonder if cutscenes are FPP because they're going for a God of War one-take type scenario where there are no cuts in between the gameplay, or if they're just cutting down on customisation and limiting unique appearance options.
