Just thought I'd have another crack at a draft. I'm a bit smarter about it than I was when I did my first one, but that isn't saying much.
TOP 30:
1) Melbourne - Tom Scully - Alot of people trying to be controversial by putting Scully at 2, but I think he'll go first.
2) Melbourne - Jack Trengrove - Vice versa.
3) Richmond - Dustin Martin - Has been heavily linked to the Tigers for weeks now, will be a key player in the rebuild.
4) Fremantle - Anthony Morabito - I know there have been controversial articles but it would be a typical Fremantle blunder to pass up on Mora, though really they should get it right this time.
5) North Melbourne - Ben Cunnington - Heavily linked.
6) Sydney - Gary Rohan - Sydney need speed, they'll get it with this jet.
7) West Coast - Lewis Jetta - West Coast are reasonably balanced, just did a bit of excitement. Jetta is their man.
8) Port Adelaide - John Butcher - Need a powerful forward to replace Tredrea.
9) Port Adelaide - Jake Melksham - Has risen miles in the past few weeks, certainly one of the next best available.
10) Essendon - Koby Stevens - For me, this was the hardest pick. Lucas is available but Essendon are choc-full of outside mids. Stevens is hard at it inside mid, who will suit their style of play.
11) Melbourne - Daniel Talia - They could have Black, but Talia's versatility as a defender AND forward will make him preferable.
12) Carlton - Aaron Black Obvious. Will get the game time to develop nicely aswell.
13) Adelaide - Jasper McMillan-Pittard - I admit I don't know much about this kid, just that he is a defender linked to Adelaide.
14) Sydney - Kane Lucas - Can't see them passing up on Lucas, has slid a fair way.
15) Western Bulldogs - Andrew Moore - Again, this was a hard pick, but Moore is underrated IMO and I think he will go around here.
16) Port Adelaide - Callum Bartlett - Can afford to take a risk with three first rounders, this kid is a gun and would be top 5 if it weren't for his knee recon.
17) Geelong - Jake Carlisle - Meh.
18) Melbourne - Brad Sheppard - Very gifted tall defender. Melbourne don't have any real deficiencies, they can afford to draft with a bit of variety too given their great picks.
19) Richmond - Matthew Panos - Linked.
20) Fremantle - Troy Taylor - Linked.
21) North Melbourne - Luke Tapscott - A slider in the past few weeks, North will be happy to get their hands on him.
22) West Coast - Ben Griffiths - KPD's are something WCE isn't 100% sure with. We have Glass who is 28, Schofield who is yet to prove himself, Spangher who is likely to leave, and Brown who is a forward at heart. The only other one is Mackenzie, and we need more assurance than that IMO.
23) West Coast - Ryan Bastinac - Very good inside mid apparently.
24) Essendon - Jordan Gysberts - Linked.
25) North Melbourne - Travis Colyer - Expected to be taken by West Coast, but IMO will slip to North who will be keen to take Brent Harvey MK11.
26) Essendon - Allen Christensen - Linked.
27) Brisbane - Nat Fyfe - Gifted forward. I wasn't sure whether or not to put Ball, but I decided on Fyfe.
28) Geelong - Nathan Vardy - Ruck stocks are running slim.
29) Adelaide - David Menzel - Again, don't know much, just been linked to Adelaide.
30) Collingwood - Sam Reid - A decent KPP player who has been linked to C'Wood.
