Sydney most definitely will not go with two talls and pass up Talia. Roos has said publicly on numerous occasions they are going for skillful midfielders. I have to disagree with you on Morabito but i'm glad you have mixed things up. I personally think martin will go top 2 with scully or trengove to drop to the tigers.

This draft plays into North's hands either way. Either what Dal17 puts up happens and we get Martin, or Richmond take Martin and we end up with Cunnington/Morabito. All 3 are skilled mids, exactly what we need. This phantom draft reminds me a little of what happened last year, due to some clubs having made commitments when Freo took Hill over Rich, North ended up with Ziebell instead of Brisbane.

Nice effort I actually like Trengove as the number 1 selection.

On Geelong... IMO we definately don't need another small forward. Will take anything BUT a small forward with our first few picks.

I'm also not sure how Gary Rohan reminds you of Russel Robertson... he is more a Steve Johnson type player

+1 Have you watched him play?

Yes i have several times he reminds me of robbo because what he can do in the air but at ground level i no where your coming from with the steve johnson remark he has that x-factor feel about him

Interesting take.

Fro have said they are super keen on taking local talent, so if Morabito is available they will deffinatly take him.

I have doubts whether Jetta will go in the 1st round. Seems a bit risky for a club's first pick like Swift was last year. Mind you a few clubs have multiple first round picks this year.

Early 2nd rounder for mine, if WC can snag either him or Colyer with pick 22/23 I'll be happy

couldnt be a worst first round choice for geelong to go for, wont happen, and is also the last thing geelong need.

will take defender small or KP, or a ruckman, or a genuine midfielder, we dont need a 21 year old indeginous nippy small forward/midfielder, the last thing geelong would touch in this years draft with its first choice.

if tahlia slips we should pounce, or would be verry happy to take a punt on bartlett at 17.

also fitzpatrick and vardy should be considered, suspect we will be drafting jesse smith with our pick 40

richmond won't take morabito at 3 they've said they will be taking either trengrove or martin who ever is available

not bad from a port pov if Butcher doesn't slide, i'd be rapt with Rohan. Would probably rather Carlile or Talia over black tho at 9. Would be cheering if either Stevens or Melksham are still available at 16.

You need to make an edit - you lost some cred when you called Cunnington "Cuningham" - especially if you have him as one of the first picks.

Otherwise not a bad effort :thumbsu:
