Probably Thomas, although I don't rate either that highly. Thomas is a mid-talent level small forward. Reimers is morphing into a Steven Baker like scragging tagger.
Maybe Gibbs could get some tagging tips off him then.

Reimers has better footskills than Thomas
Daisy is in front because he's shown more at AFL level and is currently the better player. I'm tipping that Kyle will overtake him in the next few seasons
Exactly. Darren "Daisy" Williams was an under-rated footballer at Essendon, but, has 2 premiership medals as a rover.
Thomas is a classic pretty boy...grow some balls son and harden the @#%$ up. I'll be watching young Reimers further development with interest.

im still baffled as to why everyone has this perception that daisy needs to harden up?
ive watched everyone of his games and ill aknowledge that yes he may be flashy and go in and out of games but thats what those sort of players do. You know what though hes actually won 2 or 3 games off his own boot already. Thats special too.
one thing though i have never seen is dale shirk a contest, or even thought hmm that was a bit suspect, he should have gone in harder.
so unless you can show me some hard evidence of a couple occasions where hes shirked a contest dont refer to him as soft.

Thomas is just as courageous and hard at the ball as Reimers. The difference between the two is that Reimers has more brute strength in him, hence he'd probably win more contests.
And it's the only thing he has over Thomas, that and consistency. Reimers is further developed than Thomas, age and games played may not reflect this, but Thomas still has far more room to improve than Reimers. He is actually quite close to as good as he'll get, he's a VERY early developer.

i can not see any logic to this post.
1. daisy has played like 3 times as many games as reimers- therefore more developed in terms of football experience
2. if you look at the first picture of this thread in terms of muscle size you would say they were about even perhaps even daisy a bit bigger.
reimers just has more grunt and determination, he is not more developed in terms of experience or in terms of physical size

He has had more football experience, but has more room for improvement and upside than Reimers does.

Plus Reimers has a bigger chest than Thomas. He is obviously stronger than Thomas.
Reimers also relies on his physicality to get by, much moreso than Thomas.

From a neutral point of view I think Dale Thomas will end up more like a Michael Osborne type and Kyle Reimers will end up more in the vein of Luke Hodge or Mark Riccuto.

yes gary snr was from drouin and hardly a model citizen. stealing cars etc as a teenager/adolescent getting axed by hawthorn then finishing his career as a drug addict.
one of my favourite players to watch of all time ablett snr but he was a drouin bogan off the field.
