This is a song that even people who don't enjoy hiphop should at least respect. If they can't respect it, it's because they're too lazy to listen to all the words in the song.

Fantastic story-telling that really sets the mood and scene. Sends chills down my spine.

I'm a massive one eyed Eminem fan, but that song is better then anything Eminem has done and will do. Beats Stan by a mile.

Oh no. This is the only song I refuse to listen too. It genuienly scares me.

A masterpiece nonetheless.

its a good song but you have to listen to the words like most immortal technique songs or they wont sound very good. dont listen to it if your multi tasking.

I can honestly say that the lyrics in hip hop contributes only 10% to me liking it. Music, samples and beats mean the most to me with hip hop.

On that basis i give this song a 6/10.

Most people don't like rap anymore anyway. I suppose your into the mainstream stuff like Jay-Z, Drake, Lil Wayne and Kanye West?

Big Immortal Technique fan and have this track on my ipod of course, but to be honest I skip over it 90% of the time it comes on.

It's pretty intense and I have to be in a certain mood to want to listen to it.

Tech is at his best when he's throwing conspiracy theories about Bush and 9/11 around I reckon. This is my favourite track...

Agreed. Amazing track that one espically the first few bars of the first verse.

Where Immortal Stands

Bit off topic, but this is my personal views on the rap game at the moment.

Immortal takes the "Best Political Rapper" for me.
Eminem takes the "Best lyricist" for me.
Eminem takes the "Most Controversial"
Lil Wayne takes the "Best Mainstream Rapper" for me.
Jay-Z/Eminem share the "Best Rapper Alive" for me.
Dr Dre takes "Best Producer" for me.

Drum Roll

Soulja Boy takes "Worst Rapper Alive" for me.

Evidently, you don't listen to enough rap to make a comment. Ever heard of KRS-One? Clearly not.

Dance With The Devil is a good song; but I feel that Immortal Technique gets a lot of underserved praise as a rapper because of it. To be honest, a large portion of the song's appeal comes in its shock value.

I disagree completely, you could write a 10,000 word essay on the message in this song.

I hardly ever get the same shivers down my spine as when he says 'and then he jumped off a bridge and died with no soul/they say death takes you to a better place but I doubt it".

Re: Where Immortal Stands

Anyone know the true story behind this song or anything?

I rate Dj Green Lantern or DJ Premier as the best produces going around. Stoupe The Enemy of Mankind would be up there

Of course it is all in the eye of the beholder for most of these but i disagree with most of your opinions.

Yes agree he is the best political rapper in the game atm.

Apathy, Celph Titled, Nas or Reef the Lost Cauze would be the best lyricists in my opinion

Guys from the Wu Tang such as Ghostface and Raekwon are in another league to wayne

Depends what criteris you use to decide who the "best" rapper in the game is. Disagree that Eminem and Jay-z would be there.

Best producer would have to be Premier, Green Lantern or Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind.
