Surprised neither have really made their mark on finals yet, both could be amazing players but i'd probably go Fyfe.

Was about to come here asking this question exactly. It's probably got to be Fyfe for me, assuming he can stay fit. Dangerfield is a deadset gun but Fyfe just has that innate gift to play football.

Dangerfield, by a nose, simply because of his ability to win the clearance on the inside, then carry the ball on outside.

That and he's stupidly fast.

Fyfe is a great player, and will as of round 1 next season probably have hit the next level-but Dangerfield had already taken himself there as of round 1 this season ;)

Fyfe by a mile. He will be the best player in the comp in 2-3 years. Don't forget he is basically as good as Dangerfield now, yet he is way (2-3 years) younger.

Fyfe looks to have a few more strings to his bow.

Probably a better user of the footy on both sides.
Better contested mark as he has a natural high leap to get above most players his size.
Dangerfield is far more explosive, stronger and a longer kick.

Fyfe is not a better user. Better on his non preferred maybe but he aint a great disposer. TBH both these players biggest weaknesses lie in their disposal. If they were elite kicks danger would be the best player in the game and fyfe would be at the same level after an uninterrupted year.

ok fair enough, I just seen a few more games where Patty does a terrific effort in somehow finding the ball, breaks the line but his kick forward lets him down...similarly to the way Swan disposes of the footy throughout his career.

Haven't seen all that much of Fyfe to be honest but he does have a bit of flair about him.
Looks deceptively taller than what he is, what is he..188cm/190cm?

Fyfe's listed at 186 or something but i think he is more 188/189. Good spring on him too. It's a big pity about his shoulder, lost a little bit of his marking ability since. Hope it comes back once it heals fully because it truly was magnificent. Overhead marking is to Fyfe as Explosiveness is to Dangerfield.
Danger's kick is bigger but i feel most of fyfe's kicking woes come from decision issues and game related factors. Not his inherent ability. Increased accuracy and the two of them would be both absolutely amazing.

Dangerfield by a few inches ahead of Fyfe but he is catching him.
Fyfe needs a solid pre season and a injury free year..

I know I am bias but definitely dangerfield for me.
For those that say fyfe is the better mark dangerfield played up forward for most of last year and took as good a contested mark as any. He is explosive as an outside player and a contested ball machine. Until he was told to try and get some outside run he was getting like 90% contested stats.
He is strong and powerful and can break tackles or just stand up with a few guys on him and still get rid of the ball.

Fyfe is also an amazing player and will be a star of this generation

Yeah, a year.
Not two to three.

Dangerfield started in '08
Fyfe started in '10

2 years head start and Fyfe is already (arguably) better. Plus he has been hampered by injury. Fyfe will be the best in the game in a few years if he continues down this road.
