Yes, as we need to get Henderson in
However danger will leave as an unmatched rfa is my position
And has not changed

I wouldn't be surprised if it's pick upgrades this year and next year's 1st......Still reckons its pretty much a done deal for 2 first rounders.
I understand that it's upsetting for you guys, but emotions shouldn't form part of the equation. You'll never be satisfied with the trade deal in that case. We will walk before handing you what would ultimately satisfy you. Whatever the outcome is, be prepared for a further round of disappointment. At least with Gunston, Tippett, Davis they are out of the limelight unless they are playing. Mr FIGJAM is going to be plastered all over every media show, paper, advertising, website known to the AFL.
Its going to be in our face all day every day. Watching him ham it up with Selwood is going to make me sick. Its why we have to make the trade an absolute winner.
Tonight is the last time i cheer him on (to win $1600) then he is the enemy.
Better be both from geelongHmmmmm. Is one of the first rounders a compo pick? Or will they both be from Geelong .

Yeah, I think that this is what will probably get done to be honest - probably our first picks from this and next year. This means that we will need to kiss Walker goodbye in order to get Henderson as our second pick won't get it done by itself, but it would probably work.Still reckons its pretty much a done deal for 2 first rounders.
Not sure exactly what this means, but who else saw Rory being interviewed a few minutes ago at the Brownlow & said something close to "Hope Paddy can win it as we (Adelaide) might get some perks from him winning that we can utilise"
Could be the 2 First Round Picks as compensation if Paddy wins?
Thoughts?
Yea watching him interviewed on the red carpet made me cringeEvery time Dangerfield speaks now all I hear is bullshit. Contempt in spades for him. Hurry up and end your association with the Afc. **** off
Can't imagine it is anything else, as any monetary rewards that would find their way into team kitty's would be known and therefore "might get" wouldn't be the right language. Not sure exactly what this means, but who else saw Rory being interviewed a few minutes ago at the Brownlow & said something close to "Hope Paddy can win it as we (Adelaide) might get some perks from him winning that we can utilise"

I seriously can't see the AFL giving us two picks for Danger. They'll just cop too much flak from the media and the other clubs for flying by the seat of their pants as usual. Not sure exactly what this means, but who else saw Rory being interviewed a few minutes ago at the Brownlow & said something close to "Hope Paddy can win it as we (Adelaide) might get some perks from him winning that we can utilise"

Could also be that it raises his value in any potential trade :-;Not sure exactly what this means, but who else saw Rory being interviewed a few minutes ago at the Brownlow & said something close to "Hope Paddy can win it as we (Adelaide) might get some perks from him winning that we can utilise"

That would lock us out of FA next year, not a good idea.I seriously can't see the AFL giving us two picks for Danger. They'll just cop too much flak from the media and the other clubs for flying by the seat of their pants as usual.
I must say though that if they offer us first round compo picks in 2015 and 2016 we'd snap it up. Works best for both parties.

Yes. And I hope we don't except compo of any sort as this would let Geelong off the hook. I would hate to see them gain Dangerfield for nothing. This would be morally wrong!Could also be that it raises his value in any potential trade :-;
may have already been posted but GC had to shorten their list that year, and wouldn't have been using the picks after pick 24 anyway.Yeah, I'm a bit surprised by that one. Seems like quite a lopsided deal in our favour.
Not sure if serious?Yes. And I hope we don't except compo of any sort as this would let Geelong off the hook. I would hate to see them gain Dangerfield for nothing. This would be morally wrong!
He was talking about the room the Bronwlow Medal winner receives after the count.
Their own coach even said as muchWhy do you believe there won't be a adequate trade when PD even stated Adelaide should get a fair trade.

I think we are collectively a bit numb from the events of the year to be worried about anything Geelong might throw at us.I understand that it's upsetting for you guys, but emotions shouldn't form part of the equation. Could it be a case of Geelong telling us what we want to hear when really they are giving danger a monster deal we can't match.Their own coach even said as much
