He doesn't have it, so he has to go through the whole thing again next year. Geelong have to try and trade for him again, or hope he gets their via the PSD.If he's drafted elsewhere what happens to his FA eligibility?

Not many people read to understand, they just read to respond. I responded to the poster in question, with the emboldened component of it being pertinent to that response. Why do you believe there won't be a adequate trade when PD even stated Adelaide should get a fair trade.
Latest article on the Herald Sun says that if a trade isn't done then Dangerfield will nominate a 1 year contract to try and persuade other teams not to take him.

The simple fact that they have gained a top 3 player makes the likelihood of a reasonable pick.....unlikelyAnyone who wants us to accept a 2016 first round pick, can you please tell me what pick thst would be?
Can we put any stipulations on this pick? for example, it must be a top 10 pick?
I can not see why the crows would accept a pick with so many unknowns attached to it.
Anywhere from pick 1 to pick 18

I understand that it's upsetting for you guys, but emotions shouldn't form part of the equation. You'll never be satisfied with the trade deal in that case. We will walk before handing you what would ultimately satisfy you. Whatever the outcome is, be prepared for a further round of disappointment.

Its Brownlow night, and here I am on the Geelong board.
How did you feel when Gaz Jnr left. Did you have all the Gold Coast mungs come to the Geelong board and crap on about what Geelong can accept for him???
Didnt think so!!!!
Something tells me the Skip isn't overly pleased at the company.Talk about an awkward table tonight
Not sure if mentioned but in the HS they have reported Danger will ask for a one year deal if he is claimed by another club in the draft other than gee;ong, and GHS may be a part of a deal to get it done. Media throwing darts?
Was thinking the same thing........that look!Something tells me the Skip isn't overly pleased at the company.
Im leaning towards a switch of firsts to be on the cards.
With a switch of seconds as wel... which isn't a huge loss on second round this year by all reports...
Compo for danger.
Switch of firsts and seconds...
Would that get it done?
Both. Bit dont waste your breath. So are we trading or accepting the compo offer? Can't be doing both.
You're right we need moreThat sounds like a really crap deal for us. Or are you being sarcastic?
Do you expect Geelong to satisfy any demands which the AFC may request? Everyone has a limit, price wise. If Adelaide's demands are too crippling, Geelong walk. It's that simple. My point is that if most of the posters in this thread had their own way, Geelong would trade two first round draft picks plus Cockatoo and Gregson. That just isn't going to happen. So if anything less than that is disappointing, be prepared to be disappointed, because it's not what will happen. Ergo, Geelong won't walk. Walking was a hypothetical used for emphasis and not intended be taken literally.Enjoy the walk![]()
