Latest article on the Herald Sun says that if a trade isn't done then Dangerfield will nominate a 1 year contract to try and persuade other teams not to take him.

If I was any club I would take him, if he doesn't play who cares. You pick him up for a PSD pick and one year later you can then trade him for at least a first round ND pick, that would be a big win even if he refuses to play.

I can not see why the crows would accept a pick with so many unknowns attached to it.

Not sure if mentioned but in the HS they have reported Danger will ask for a one year deal if he is claimed by another club in the draft other than gee;ong, and GHS may be a part of a deal to get it done. Media throwing darts?

Do you expect Geelong to satisfy any demands which the AFC may request? Everyone has a limit, price wise. If Adelaide's demands are too crippling, Geelong walk. It's that simple. My point is that if most of the posters in this thread had their own way, Geelong would trade two first round draft picks plus Cockatoo and Gregson. That just isn't going to happen. So if anything less than that is disappointing, be prepared to be disappointed, because it's not what will happen. Ergo, Geelong won't walk. Walking was a hypothetical used for emphasis and not intended be taken literally.
