If we end up with 9, 13, 20 (assuming Geelong trade up their 2nd) and 32 I think it can be a pretty exciting draft for us, use 9 on Milera and 13 on Burton then 20 on the best KPD that's left and 32 to fill another need, ruckman perhaps. We are still getting reamed through this danger trade, only in a humid environment this time so its not as dry. Gore I don't know enough about to comment but he looks alright in the video, would want to know the knock on him to slide to 55 though. Still would love 2 firsts and a Gore but as the Prictorians on AFL.com say, we should be grateful for the 3 good years he put in and thank him for leaving a growing and tight-nit club that has exited the toughest year of any AFL club ever..... tossers.

Ryder isn't the player Danger is. Full Stop.

Gore is purely steak knives, anyone that believes otherwise is delirious, and what's more as it stands he fills a spot on the list, that isn't the selling point.

I just have no idea why the best player on offer should be traded on the first day, that's just terrible.

Look .. we all have faith in the recruiting team to use picks wisely... but i think we totally got bent over this deal.. geelogic supporters are mad because they thought all along that he was an unrestricted freeagent. As amusing as their stupidity is... i feel much the same way to our guys.

Might be the first official day of the trade period, but you would be ignorant to think that Geelong and Crows hadn't been talking for weeks regarding this trade. It's only the first day in official terms.

Beams wasn't a FA though was he? I think 9, 28 and a player in light of the fact that PD is a FA would be a good deal for Adelaide in a shit situation.

On surface it does not look like a very good deal for us, however, how this pans out in the long run depends entirely what picks 9 and 28 turn into (either trade or most likely draft) and what Gore turns into.

Like with the Judd trade, time will be the judge but **** me it feel like we just got butt ****ed without the lube!

Not sure what people were expecting. He may be top five statistically, but after 8 seasons with us only just won the BnF and never won a Brownlow/Premiership. He aint Judd/Ablett.

We now have four picks inside the first 30 to trade/draft with.


Turn one of second picks into Jed Anderson acquire Hampton with Gore and we have some real run in our side.

I think it's a fair deal, Gore is going to be a good player. It's been conducted well by two clubs who have been sensible and professional.

They gave us 9 because it was always gone, theyd have to use it in the draft. He almost certainly gets to Geelong at 9.

So its 28 + Gore to avoid the draft. Pretty 'meh' but better than 14.
