So Danger is desperate to get to Geelong and Geelong are desperate to get him. That means we are dealing from a position of strength in a big way. 1 top 5 pick, 1 top 10 pick and a pick in the low 20's. If no good, it's off to the preseason draft for you.

If we got pick 9 this year and say Geelong finish outside the 8 next season giving us pick 9 next season .......I'd try and bundle our two current picks this year and next to try and get a top 4 draft pick this season ?

I got the sentiment, but i also enjoyed you probably picked the one rookie player on our list that would be an absolute gun.

That said, i can't see any complaints from the AFL if that deal happened for Danger, purely due to the quality we're dealing with.

But I urge every Crows fan to email Fagan / AFC and state explicitly, that they expect the AFC to;

1. Match Geelongs offer to Patrick Dangerfield

2. Demand adequate compensation in a trade, starting with 2 first round draft picks and a player.

3. Hold their ground, and be willing to send Dangerfield to the PSD, should Geelong fail to, at the very least, offer their first round pick for this year.

4. Discretely enter into talks with one, or a number of, Carlton, Brisbane, GC, Melbourne, Essendon, St Kilda, Collingwood, and GWS, stating our above intentions, and urge them to take Dangerfield, should he have the intestinal fortitude to enter the PSD.

If we do not take the above approach, my faith in his club will be diminished, to a near unrecoverable position.

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY! that you guys can fit Hamish, Dixon and Wines in your salary cap! Just a few months ago you guys said your cap was at bursting point! Schulz had to take a 400K salary cut. So if you some how fit all this in and Extend hartletts contract BIG QUESTIONS need to be asked.

LOL. We said no such thing about our cap. No-one truly knows how much space is left. Plus, Butcher took a cut as well and I'm pretty sure he was on around $400,000. He's under $100,000 apparently. But again, nothing's 100% confirmed and the truth is that only people in the inner-circle know.

I appreciate all this but heck you are setting a bad precedent for future player movement in and out of your club. Especially the last point. But it's your board so I'll shush.
