I do feel animosity towards our list management at the time for rolling over for a tummy rub during negotiations

FMD - Wells mentioned in an interview a few years later they would've paid up another 1st rounder if pushed

I only wish we got what Danger was genuinely worth, ie two top 10 picks.

I think he could have stayed an extra couple of years.
Crows were just reaching their peak, he could have stayed for two more cracks (2016 and 2017) then went home to win a flag with the Cats.

Fingers crossed it will transfer to AFL level, but I'm always sceptical about footage showing sidesteps in the juniors or state level.

Chances are most AFL players wouldn't fall for that.

the kid was on my flight from Perth to Adelaide on Friday arvo.

waved goodbye to his Dad at the gate in Perth and Keasy and Hamish plus a few others were there to greet him in Adelaide.

He wandered over to get his bag off the carousel by himself but Keasy kept a distant eye on him and off they went to the car park.

Keays gave the kid a warm welcome. My respect for Benny keeps going up and up and up. The type of guy that is heart and soul.

Keays the player that kicked us the "winning goal" that sent us into the Finals for the first time since 2017, yes Curtin spending time and as a first contact would be the right move.

Keays passion, enthusiasm and love of the Club/team, is his best character traits.

WA is also a fishbowl, I think he would be pretty aware of what Adelaide is like. Anyway, his family's history with living in different locations (that include Adelaide) would suggest homesick issues won't be a problem here.

Alternatively, by moving around alot, he may have learnt to not get connected with friends, and has formed a tighter bond with his family, would suggest homesick issues would be a greater problem here.
