daniel pratt : hard or soft?

i have seen some ppl on here call him soft a fair bit but most nth supporters think he is very hard at it

Yep, he loves to niggle and get under an opponent's skin which is probably why he loves to take a bit of a dive, but anyone who thinks he is a soft footballer is an idiot.

Funnily enough Lewis squibbed a contest moments before the whole 'diving' thing against Hawthorn (which was what Pratt was getting stuck into him about which led to the Lewis 'punch'), but this fact is always conveniently ignored.

Agree to disagree genuine hardnuts do not dive to the extent of laying down as if they have been knocked out after actually copping a love tap. Pratt's natural instincts show that he is soft. Many players go in hard for the ball but are not considered as hardnuts!

if you asked anyone from any club theyd have him in their backline if they could i reckon...

And one of the things that many people seem to ignore is that Lewis consistently dives in head first into packs and into oncoming traffic giving no consideration to his welfare. If someone has a go at Lewis he will respond accordingly always. He would never drop like a soccer player its not in his nature.

I know it must be hard after watching Archer and co for years and then to see a teams so called hardest player dive when touched. Pratt is hard at the ball but he falls short in being a genuine hardnut because his natural instincts are not that inclined 100% of the time.

Would Archer drop like Pratt if Lewis gave him a love tap? Lets be honest. I will answer this question Archer was a genuine hardnut!

Goo loves the hip and shoulder it's part of footy. The worst he has ever done is hip and shoulder someone a split second after they have got rid of the ball. If you have played footy you would understand that it's easy to do once you have committed yourself. Goo is an old fashioned footballer who has never done anything that warrants the cheap tag.
