I'm excited about this guy. If he develops he can either usurp Cox or be groomed as Cox's replacement. Ideally at some point during that time we'd have 2 big talls forward. I like that prospect. The guy seems excited to have another shot, something he wasn't going to get at Sydney.

On the other hand if he fails to develop we lost what, a late-round draft pick? I like the idea of adding potential value for practically nothing.

" I knew Collingwood were interested in me and I have been waiting for the go-ahead but Sydney were busy with Joe Daniher and Tom Papley,” he said.

“It’s good to get a three-year deal. I can settle down in Melbourne and set up life for a bit.


So either Collingwood or Darcy doesn't know how long his contract is... Hopefully that gets sorted out soon..

I really like Cameron as a recruit. He offers good back up for Cox and has the potential to develop past him. I think we sufferred last year when Cox went down because we didn't have a similar replacement. Our structures were thrown out and suffered as a result. Cameron addresses that need. I'm encouraged to hear he's already crunching the marks in training. Reminds me of Roughead last year.

If he can put together a good showing in the final Marsh series game quite possibly. Bucks has shown a penchant for taking pre-season form into consideration for the Round 1 team (Corey Gault lol)

I hope we can trial Cox and Cameron together in round one but with the likes of Crozier, Daniel, Johannisen and Richards owning great dash out of defensive 50 for the Dogs, I reckon it's too much a risk to run with the two. If it comes down to one or the other - who gets picked?
