Lol.

It's a pretty commonly-known phenomenon that athletes perform better when rested :)

Also a well known fact its 22 vs 22 , Cameron was used at crucial times , was pretty well highlighted at the time of the game he was attending centre bounces over Grundy at the start of quarters.

I dont know what the arguement is, but my angle is that he can handle the A grade ruckmen , in the same breath im not discrediting Grundys value

Does Cameron need a rest before finals? He looked a bit tired against Melbourne last week. And it's been confirmed now that Grundy won't be back this season so it'll be the Cameron and Cox ruck combo in the finals.. a week off to stay fresh?

He gets a week off before the finals I believe and maybe one more if we win our first (need to win one match out of the final 2).

Cameron would be great as a backup but we simply can’t rely on him.

On his good days, he is quite useful. His bad days, however, are absolutely horrendous. He really needs to lift on his “bad” days.

Not sure whether it comes down to consistency or simply skill level. Don’t think it is a matter of effort.

Very impressed with DC today. Was competitive all day, marking, tapping, getting clearances, kicking inside 50s and with chances of hitting the scoreboard. Lycett by comparison was nowhere.

The big question is how long can he keep this up for? He looked really good when he took over from Grundy last season but fell away towards the end. Is he someone we’ll have to manage through the year by being in Steene or giving Cox a run as 1st ruck?

Best game I have seen him play and really pleased for the player, club and supporters. Takes powerful contested grabs, gets on the scoreboard when playing forward and puts in very good second efforts when the ball hits the deck. Tap work and connection with on-ballers is going pretty well also.

I think last year showed he doesn't need to. Cox will have his good days and together they are good enough for most teams. On the other hand, if this level became the new norm it would make a huge difference to our year.
