Been reading all the plaudits for Frampton on his thread (rightly so), then realised how brilliant Moore has been, considering the upheaval of the backline (no Howe, Murphy concussions, Frampton rucking).
Been outstanding really, understated and done with aplomb.
The captaincy hasn’t affected his game at all.
The timing has been perfect so far, on and off the field.

Having a massive impact, on and off field, in his first season as captain. He's re-writing the AFL captains songbook. All the other captains look - beige? - by comparison.

I'm loving it.

Happy to admit I found his appointment a bit of a head scratcher at the time, didn’t really see anything that stood out as captain material. Inspired choice.

Best key defender in the competition. Top 5 in intercepts per game and right around top 10 in contested marks per game. His aerial game is just incredible to watch - never think he's going to be beaten in the air

I marvel at this man’s brilliance every week.
Sometimes I reflect upon a game we played against the Saints at Emptyhead Stadium.
Their supporters gave it to him mercilessly all day, (played in the forward line).
The abuse and jeering he copped that day was astounding.
I just smile on the inside now

Leeter is 1, but Moore is certainly a cut above. Probably the best since Scarlett for my mind, given he can actually defend a lot better than Rance or McGovern did
