Absolutely wrong. Go do a suicide prevention course and they make it very clear that this notion is a myth.

Again, just wildly untrue and a bloody dangerous attitude. Thousands of people have done similarly on social media and followed through. I personally know someone who did.

So just can it with the misinformation. Take it seriously
