I was actually one of those ppl. I don't really 'adore' him or think he's terrific but neither do I hate him. I'm in the middle basically although the thing with the miners did lessen my opinion of him. I think he's a good host and can be amusing but sometimes just tries to be a bit to 'chummy' with people and I dislike that.

If I had a choice much prefer the stylish today show.

Sunrise and kochie appeal to the lowest common denominator as seven does generally. Couldn't dumb it down anymore if they tried.

i definetly agree. this "human being" considers the world a happy place. Well of course he would he is being paid ****loads of money to be a attention seeking prick. Sunrise's "cool the world" segment is probably the most stupidest segment ive seen on tv its up there with Yasmins getting married. Instead of trying to prevent global warming (which it may have already occured or is just another phobia created to make us live in fear even more), use your "people power" to fix the health system where people are waiting up to 2 years for operations, fix the education system, more initiatives to stop terroism etc. I mean even global warming has been considered a false philosophy according to some scientists.

I remember when Koch used to just do finance he was reasonable and definetly well respected. However slowly n slowly he changed n now I despise him with a passion. Ive nearly quit TV due to the Sunrise and Today Crew (used to love watching Lieberman and Grimshaw every morning they were a good and INTELLIGENT crew).

THe program sunrise itself has been created for people who dont read a paper or people who are blatantly ignorant. the amount of comments ive seen on the show is a joke and a lot of em are made by ignorance. Shift the show or we will. Seriously i dont know how koch is a dad. Jeez his kids really cop it anywhere and everywhere.

Agree with the above comments on ''Cool the World'', which is an absolute toss, but that whole ''where your with friends'' and the chummy attitude is so sickly sweet its enough to make throw up your breakfast.
