I'd say he'd be mighty pissed being dropped and now that he's already got a premiership medal, it might be time to make him a decent offer. Would complete our backline beautifully IMO and would be another option up forward or midfield.

Thoughts?

He would just be doing the same role we have Both Newman and Mcmahon doing i think it wouldn't be worth going for him we have so many rebounding defenders

Would be nice, i reckon he will be happy to stay with them already has one flag im sure he would stay for the chance of a 2nd / 3rd depending on how this weekend goes

Damn the vulture's are circling already. :(

For all but 2 teams it is already draft and trade week. Every idiot with a computer will post something similar on every Board everytime anything happens from now until its all over again for another year......thank Christ

Until then its get him, sack him, trade him, how about this for him and then they get that and we get him....we will continue to get that shit for weeks yet.....you have bigger things to concern yourself with lucky for you.

Wouldn't want to come to us I don't think and I reckon he'd want to prove himself next year and get back into that team They'll be dominant for a while yet.

Sorry, I thought we needed a fast skillfull experienced hard nut in our side. My bad. We have JON and pettifer. How silly of me.
IMO we have Newman that is like that maybe not as experienced but he is skillful, quick and hard at the ball and our rebounding defender which is what Wodjinski is

get real - hes is 28 and a preimership player - whaddya reckon the cats will want for him?

A lot more than the 4th rounder we would consider.

pass

Could be a handy addition with his experience.

Quality premiership players don't always become available, and if obtained for the right price, would prove to be a handy addition to compliment the up and coming Tiger side.

No question he would need to adapt to the team ruls and codes we follow at Richmond, so his game may need to be slightly altered.
I have no doubt our team of coaches will be able to mould him and have him slot into the Tiger side.

Well done to TW and his team of coaches for having the framework in place to help use players prior experiences for the benefit of the RFC :thumbsu:

yeah i agree with you Newman is our wojinski, plus i really doubt he'll leave geelong. as pj said what would have 2 give up for him an early 2 rounder?? too much for him imo.

Doesn't fill a need and is too old.

Correct

We currently have Newman and McMohan in our best 22 playing his role. We then have Raines and King in the wings while we are still developing Meyer and even JON and Casselry (if their still around) for the role. While they may not be as fast, I would still take Newman's skill over Wojak's.

Besides he is 28, much older then these Richmond players

What we need is a Josh Hunt
