Christian was a terrible commentator "don't tell me.... he's kicked a goal!" but he's even more incompetent as the match review officer.
That is a week, clear as day but he won't have the will/stones to suspend him- not necessarily because of the Collingwood link but because it's a big final and they adjudicate these things differently

Big test for the AFL here. On merit, he shouldn’t get anything. But given the precedent set this year, it has to be at least one and probably two. The real question is, will they have the guts to hand it down to Collingwood in finals? If the answer is no, questions need to be asked.

They seem to have been a little more lenient with these incidents lately. I'd expect a fine at the worst but a good chance of no case to answer for.
That said, the MRO tend to handle things arbitrarily depending on the club involved so I don't think it's worth trying to think too logically about the precendence of previous decisions.

Neales definitely had more impact though. The Sydney player hit the ground pretty hard
There are different rules in finals to the H&A season, let's make that perfectly clear. He won't cop a week for that even though he collected the head with a bump. Previous incidents like Neale's 1 week feather duster against Sydney mean nothing. They won't rub out a player from a preliminary Final for that. In saying that he should get a week, but they won't do it!
