I'm not really that surpised. The crows had similar luck in MRO decisions against North Melbourne last week.
The MRO has never been consistent so to expect a Collingwood player to be rubbed out now is behond the bounds of expectation.
Having said that I wouldn't expect simliar leniency for non Victorian teams in the coming days.

And because he let deGoey get away with it, the Adelaide players ended up with fines as well.
Because we sure as **** know it was all about deGoey playing in a Prelim for Christian.
Common sense said he shouldn't have been rubbed out, but none of the similar ones this year should have. Why does common sense only apply now, to a Collingwood player, in finals? Farcical, and once again proves, beyond doubt, that the AFL is about as real and authentic as WWE.

Its why at some point in the next few years the AFL is going to face an almighty lawsuit finding against them.
They pretend to care but scratch the surface and they really dont. They will throw the book at a nobody in a regular season game but a big name in a final its a free for all.
