We haven't lost any assistants as far as I'm aware. We do need to hire development coaches though.

Im prob one of the few that is mildly dissapointed in this, have listened to him on radio a bit, againt this morning and have always had the impression of a clear thinking intelligent fellow. just the kind of fella youd like having some input to our brainstrust. Wont lose a heck of alot of sleep there really should be upteen candidates for this kinda gig, plenty of ex players in second tier comps making a name for themselves

Spot on. Just not fashionable enough for the G Lyons of this world (but more knowledgeable than all of them put together). Easy to blame because he aint one of the boys. Unlike Harvey who was a worse coach with a better list (how was that sacking uproar!) Won't lose sleep here either. Just hope we're working on what we need then hiring the skills, rather than clutching the big name and then creating a role. So far the process looks intelligent and well thought out.
