As a guide as to who won the trade, if we approached them and said 'We will give you pick 2 for Whitlock and pick 20', Norf would be mad not to jump at that.

I don't know how we get the capital, but I need another death ride thread next year. It's like we are barracking for two teams this year, ourselves and whoever is playing Norf (excluding the Scats).

I don't think anyone is going to be willing to trade their first with us, it's a curse.

Assuming Allen compo, and assuming there is a clear distinction between the top 3 and everyone else in the open draft, it's a good year to atleast get one of the standout best kids in the draft and then basically have first pick of the rest. Could also look at trading pick 3 and Blight for pick 2 from the Eagles. It's basically getting him where he wants to go (if he does want to head home) and then strengthening ties with the Eagles and pipping anyone else that is trying to get in before our pick.
