Ok, so now that LDU has signed on, how do we get bent over by the AFL if Norf finish bottom 3?

Do they get a priority pick? If so, does it come before or after their first pick?

Is there any other mechanism by which the AFL can obviously screw us over?

So much of football these days is about confidence and belief. North currently have none.

Things can change quickly, although they look like a group that doesn't with intrinsic motivation. Just goes to show you can draft 'elite' kids with all these traits but if their attitude is rubbish they won't make it.

Maybe as a one draft hand, but in last 3 drafts they had 5 top 4 picks for JHF and McKay, plus extra firsts from JHF and AFL PPs. We are still at 1 top 5 pick.

A tale of two rebuilds. Them, draft best available mid year after year, bringing them into a poor environment while neglecting KPP. A lopsided build where the players that take the longest to develop aren't on the list.

Us.. took the lion's share of KPP players in a draft highly rated for them as well as a super tall midfielder, a bottom age crafty small forward and speedy midfielder/forward coming back from an ACL but rated super highly for talent. Now we hold our first, their first which will likely give us two excellent options come draft time while they have our second round picks which will be past 30 most likely.

I used to think the CCJ trade was going to be the most lopsided trade between the two clubs but here we are.
