Yeah, sundays wee me off, as you have to wait impatiently all weekend for the game. Night games=, not many away games=, 2 vs the pies= . Hope Brock isn't injured when we play 'em this time!!

Stop your whinging people. This is the best draw we've had in years.

Adelaide and West Coast once, no Geelong in Geelong, no travel Round 22, no back-to-back interstate trips, no short breaks, plenty of TV exposure with 6 night games, plus we play Collingwood twice.

This is an awesome draw. Praise the lord we're finally not being anally r*ped by the AFL.

Monday to Friday turnaround after round 11 wtf

Split round it's an 11 day break.
I think it's an OK draw for us. If we were a club with some clout I'm sure we'd be kicking and screaming but at the moment this is as good as can be expected.
Only one trip to Adelaide.
Lack of saturday games offset by night games woo hoo get wasted!
We play the pies twice.
2 of our last 3 at home.
No end of season trip to Geelong in fact we don't go there at all!!!!
Sydney don't get to beat us in Melbourne.
2 games at the G against Carlton. Revenge!
Always look on the bright side of life.

We go five straight weeks (15-19) without a game at the MCG. We really shouldn't have to play the Bulldogs at TD twice.

But on the whole it ain't too bad. We're more chance of beating Sydney at Manuka then we are at the MCG or TD!

Too many Dome games, 12 games at the G is good, as is 7 night games. I play footy on saturdays so only 2 is awesome. Overall, we travel 6 times which is great considering 2 were sold. Pretty good, definitely better than last years.

I' m liking this draw, only one trip to our dreaded AAMI stadium and its against Port. Plus our run home is better than the last few years.

Not looking forward to heading into the finals with a loss

Very good draw. Love almost every part of it except having a home game vs the dogs. Also will miss no Geelong game in Geelong for merely a fun factor but it's best for the team we stay away from there. Only 1 game in AAMI and it's against Port I'd rather subi X 2 than aami X 2 as we are better at subi for some reason even though the quality of opponents is higher.

Also not happy we have to play carlton not once but twice and in round 22. I'd prefer we simply didn't play them

To say that the worst thing about it is that we play a home game at the Dome is a good thing. That sure does suck, but no Skilled stadium, no adelaide in aami, and no interstate game round 22 are all better.
Love the Sunday games. Like the added night games, looking forward to twilight, but it's not as good as either night or day.
In all, pretty damn pleased with it.

Blockbuster to open the season. Melbourne vs. St Kilda at the MCG on Friday night. Two best Victorian teams going at it. Saints will want to revenge their Elimination Final loss.

First four games are all at the MCG, so it gives us a an opportunity to get a winning start. Round 5 is in Sydney which is obviously winnable for us, as is Round 6 at the MCG against Port Adelaide.

Then it's some tricky games against Bulldogs (Dome), West Coast (Subiaco) and Adelaide (MCG), with the Kangaroos (MCG) squeezed in between.

Then we've got the former "Big Four" in consecutive weeks, so it will be good to knock off all our traditional rivals in a row.

There are a few interstate matches to finish the year off in the last eight weeks. Brisbane (Gabba), Port Adelaide (AAMI), Sydney (Manuka) and Fremantle (Subiaco), with the Kangaroos, Bulldogs, Collingwood and Carlton in between.

VERY GOOD DRAW. If we can't get top four with this draw, we never will.

My only quarm with the draw is playing a "home" game against the dogs at the Dome. Cancels out the positive of not going to Geelong imo. Sunday games are a personal annoyance but not a negative for the club. Overall, there are far more positives than negatives which is nice for a change.

quite happy with the draw... only things i'm unhappy with are the home game @ the dome against the dogs, and the fact we only play 3 of our last 10 @ the MCG... leaves us open to another end of season slump... but very happy with it... seems the afl investing in some computer software to create the fixture was worthwhile...
