Preview Dees game crowd size (?)

Looking forward to tomorrow. Last time i went to see us play Melbourne was at the MCG on a Sunday twilight and it was the last round of i think 2010. Was a great game, North won and i left thinking that was the start of a rivalry of two teams on the up and that we'd be playing them in finals in years to come.
Haven't things changed. While a couple of thousand Dees supporters will trudge in hoping for a miracle, 28,000 North supporters will strut into Etihad expecting a big win on the way to a return to September action.

I reckon that our base is probably closer to 16-17k, however I reckon that it is growing.

Didn't seem like there were many Melbourne fans there but they were pretty loud.

Was hilarious hearing them tear into the team from the opening bounce. Kudos to the few who turned up at least.

The crowd was just over 20,800 today, I'd reckon 20k were North. Disgusting turnout by the GoDees.

Brian Taylor said it was a small crowd typical of that tosser I was at the game and there didn't seem to be many Dees supporters there at all, would of been at least 19000 North supporters. Would be good if the likes of Brian Taylor could point out the bulldogs, blues last Saturday night at the dome which was around 23,800 with a team playing for a final spot.
Our supporters are starting to come out and they will just need to keep the winning form going.

Freo and Port usually get more fans to our games than the D's yesterday!! No more than 3k there yesterday. I can fully understand them not liking ES as a home venue but ffs it was an away game for them so no bullshit excuses "we don't want to go there" etc. Even when we've been crap we'd still get 5-7,000 to any away game. Been a very frustrating 3-4 years for them I suppose.
