Anyboyd think that Frawley could be a future skipper?
We have been quick to nominate Grimes for the future captaincy, probably for the stint after next (after Beamer or Greeny take it) but what about Chippa? Bailey said in the article on mfc.com.au that James has showed some leadership qualities. He seems like the kind of bloke who would do just about anything for the team, put his body on the line, and showed when some disgraceful decisions went against his way he can keep a cool head.
FWIW it already seems like he's the captain of the backline, or at least sharing duties with Rivers.

It's a tough question. I keep chopping and changing between Green and Moloney. Both would make first class leaders, and both have a case to be considered. I voted for Green this time because I think he deserves the opportunity to captain the club, but then you shouldn’t give him the gig just because he deserves it. Moloney would certainly be a very strong leader…

IMO I don't think Col is quite ready for such a responsibility. Let him concentrate on getting the most out of his ability on a consistent basis before we put any more pressure on him. But I have been impressed to see him in front of the media on a more regular basis.

As for Watts, Scully, Grimes et. al. their time will come at some stage in the next decade.

A number of people called in saying Davey would get it, including two who said it was part of his contract (be it verbally or written).

And as far as Sylvia goes, he was interviewed the other day and said he's not looking for the captaincy, just wants to play "consistent footy".

How the hell would they know the specifics of a players contract. Why would SEN even let them go on the air say that they knew.
